I feel like this should not have been left on the cutting room floor on the movie: Snowpiercer.

Who is they?  And where is the evidence for the sabotage?  There are plenty of EV’s available at or below the cost of the average new car in the US but since the US government isn’t subsidizing OEMs to the point where they can offer $10k EVs (like the Chinese government does), this is sabotage?  Y’all have wild lines

How does this even make sense? American companies are spending tens of billions of dollars investing in EV development and your first thought is “they’re just spending that money because they don’t actually want to do EVs”?

Now, an exec departing from the American electric vehicle maker has questioned the “long game” behind boss Elon Musk’s cuts at the automaker.

There is no “long game” at Tesla anymore, just whatever insane thing pops into Muskrat’s brain while on his latest ketamine binge.  At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if his office had a secret room where he stockpiles piss jars.

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand this SHOULD be a wakeup call to western automakers to get their shit together and actually find the will and urgency to make competitive products. On the other hand I’m not exactly chomping at the bit to spend 10's of 1000's on something made in a country that actively

Elon:

There’s one reason for prohibiting the cars: no American or Japanese car-maker wants this competition here. It’s the 1970s panic over Japanese cars all over again. It’s just a different Asian nation.

There will be some numptys commenting who will act like prohibiting the importation of Chinese EVs is being done for data protection or whatever (like it even matters any more), but it is 100% being done purely because the big 3 are scared absolutely to death. It’s the same exact rhetoric that was used back in the

That’s the thing with the Q-Anon/MAGA crowd now, they’re moving into “America’s bad, let’s be full-blown Nazis” territory, and they’re going there real quick. From openly supporting Russia/Putin, to trying to subvert elections at every turn, to openly calling for an end to democratic representation to trying to

“They have to use explosives because you can’t break steel beams any other way. This proves 9/11 was an inside job!”

OK, so firing musk would probably tank the stock price. or more realistically, it would cause the stock price to reset to where it actually belongs. There’s no one you can replace him with where that doesn’t happen. But, that’s happening right now anyway, just slower.

Or…. reality needs to set in and the PE ratio needs to return to “normal”.

White boys mad they are being treated the way they demand not white people be treated and are somehow mad. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

As an engineer, neither is safe or swift is first in my mind for this project.

A key to also remember is that people in the Rimac-echelon of wealth have a lot of other cars. Like, a lot. And if they don’t, they have a bunch they want to buy BEFORE an electric hypercar. Unless that is a perfect daily driver, I doubt many of them would forego their chauffers and executive saloons.

I cannot even, on how conspiracy nuts will warp this.

Controlled? Come on. This is the Francis Scott Key bridge. There should at least be rockets and bombs bursting in air.

Soooo....driver fled = car was stolen, right?

Discounts can be a pretty powerful motivator.
