Price, and the fact that I live in an apartment complex that hasn’t installed charging stations. I’ve been leasing ICE cars since 2020 in hopes that both issues would resolve quickly, but no luck so far.

Anyone who is small enough to sit like this already has more space in an airplane seat than they know what to do with.

1000000%. If you can afford first-class tickets, you can afford a Xanax prescription so you can ... *checks notes* tolerate a flight without your cancer coming back. (What a shitty thing to allege.)

That would be such a dumb assumption for dealers/automakers. Someone who wants a tiny car isn’t going to say “oh well I can’t buy a kei car so I guess my next best option is a gigantic expensive truck.”

The Hudson River in NYC is surprisingly clean - I used to work at a college where the biology students would regularly pull samples for testing. The East River, on the other hand... you couldn’t pay me to swim in the East River.

It’s better when the Bailey’s is in the coffee and not on the floor. I have fond memories of sneaking out of work on St Patrick’s Day and having boozy coffee with my coworkers (the only time I’ve ever been glad to be in Times Square at 9 in the morning).

You’re a lucky SOB if the only reason that car is empty is the lack of A/C.

Nah, still too much effort. We’d have to mount small battery-powered fans on their phones.

I got the sense that Vhagar enjoys it... and while that could just be the psychic bond she now shares with Aemond, one could argue Aemond was allowed to bond with her because she was already predisposed to violence (being one of the 3 dragons who helped the OG Aegon to conquer Westeros).

For all the good it does, the CT user manual may as well be written in Simlish...

I dunno, I wouldn’t go up against the legal team of the world’s richest man.

When I left a city with good public transit for the Midwestern suburbs, my main priorities for a car were (1) affordability and (2) AWD to help with winter driving. There was NO overlap of those priorities in the small-car segment - anything with AWD had a mid-level or luxury price - so I had to settle for a CRV. Very

I’m REALLY curious to find out how the judge rules on the nonbinding shareholder vote. I hope she strikes it down again.

Second gear - both Boeing and Airbus are also dealing with counterfeit titanium from China. The supply chain is absolutely fucked.

Sir this is a Wendy’s blog

Could they seize the car and/or his license?

Completely agree. I think we’re on the right track with the push toward autonomy — as in, autonomy will require networking, not that autonomy is going very well these days. But it’ll take probably at least 50 years after solving for autonomy for all cars in a given country or region to be mapped to an integrated

Yeah I need a polite horn AND an “I’m sorry, I know I did something stupid, I’m not from around here, please forgive me” horn.

The whispered “oh my goddddd” right after the judge orders him to report to jail is just priceless.

The only reason my insurance rate didn’t rise when my 9-month-old car had its front smashed in by a drunk driver (at 8 in the morning...) is because I wasn’t in the car at the time, so it was considered property instead of a car. $7000 of damage and I didn’t pay a penny of it, thank god.
