Honestly, as a Canadian this is one of the things that just boggles about the way the US works. How the hell can you not do elections right after all this time?

Hey! Sorry if I offended you. Didn’t mean to. I guess I was just trying to “sound” funny by phrasing my question that way. I enjoyed your story. I had never heard of a spiritbox, but I’ve got a little story of my own in that same vein if it has to do with spectral audio.
Absolutely no part of this story is exaggerated, and I still don’t know what to make of it. Until I was five, I was raised in a teeny tiny town. My small neighborhood was more like a compound, where all of the people who worked in the clinic next door lived. There was a big garden in the middle of the neighborhood…
backstory: the school I work at in Vancouver, BC is being seismically upgraded, as are many because many of the schools built in VSB are gaining on 100 years old. In March (2020), before spring break, we all tirelessly packed up our entire classrooms in boxes to be moved over Spring Break to our ‘new school’ for the…
I wrote this up last year, intending to share it on here, and then I never did for some reason. A year later and I’ve decided it’s time.
Did you post? Just post! I still like reading the “less sensational” ones because they truly are creepy.
I need more information about that haunted house and the tombstone situation...please elaborate if you're reading this.
Like I don’t have enough to worry about as a pregnant person right now. Let’s add peoples’ judgy comments on top of it!
This situation has actually had the opposite effect on me: after spending most of my youth focused on having fun, traveling and my career, I feel the need to focus on other things, and having a baby is top of the list. The rest seems so trivial now. All of this comes with huge helpings of guilt about all my privilege.
Back in the early 2000s I moved in with a now ex-boyfriend. He lived in a bungalow style house in one of the neighborhoods of a large midwestern city. This happened when I was taking a personal day from work after moving in to finish getting things arranged and unpacked.
It’ll always be the redneck murder truck for me. I still think about it.
DUDE you need to edit and add this to your original post cuz this really makes the fucking story
Follow up: just now, thinking about this story, I went to look at the registry of deeds for the town I grew up in. They’ve got everything digitized now, so I was able to look up the closing paperwork for the house. There, my parents both signed, as did a notary, but the witness section?
6th grade graduation? Pony.
NO DANCING QUEEN??? Or am I just outing myself as an oldster?
To be fair, pony should be on all playlists for any occasion.
Wow, some folks out here just don’t abide JG on this. Don’t worry Jennifer, some of us know your pain. I can’t watch a video of myself being normal, no less one that everyone is hounding me about for being weird. Watching myself or listening to my own voice makes me want to crawl into the fetal position. I cannot…
Moved from Canada to the US. My experience says yes, it’s an American thing. In Canada (mid size city) we got individual bills by default. In the US, asking for separate bills seems to be an ordeal.
This is the first time I've ever commented on an article in my whole life
1000s of words and yet this is missing all three of the best fast food sauces: McDonald's Hot Mustard, Whataburger Spicy Ketchup, and Whataburger Regular Ketchup.
