Fair point, brother.

“at least one of the following and thus lost forever:”

Or Doctor Detroit!

Yes, IMO it’s far superior. IMO “Justice” would have also benefitted from a bit of self-editing, which is a problem they’ve had in recent years as well. I wish “Justice” had the same sound as “$5.98 EP” which was pretty crushing. Then again, when you look back on it, it’s kind of amazing that Justice is as good as it

The first Suicidal Tendencies record is an all-time hardcore classic, they never even came close to duplicating it again. Look for the Tom Araya cameo in the “Institutionalized” video.

That Champale reference reminds me of one of my favorite Beastie Boys songs:

My favorite scene in the movie. Ralph Fiennes is stellar.

That fucking Dodge Ram/MLK Jr ad made me never want to buy another Chrysler product again. Well, it was that and the fact they make hopelessly shitty automobiles.

*Sigh* Still relevant, with only a quarterback name change:

Ben Franklin would take “air baths”. He would open his windows and stand naked basking in the night air for God and everyone to see.

“Sit on it, Fonzie!”

I always wondered how De Young got the rest of them to agree to release Mr Roboto as a single.  It’s so incredibly shitty.  ‘83 had some great stuff, but you just never heard it on the radio because everything was Top 40.

What those songs have in common, is why ‘83 was indeed the beginning of something terrible - MTV. There were good bands that I learned about through MTV, like Talking Heads, but it made the most overplayed music of the eighties so much whiter and blander than it had to be.

Hootenanny in “E” from ‘83!

If Justice League taught us anything, its stop giving Zack Snyder money.

We are in a brave new world of Eagles fandom, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

If Justice League taught us anything, it’s that you can’t bring on a radically different director mid-way through a movie shoot and expect them to magically change into something that works completely coherently.

The EU explanation(my god there was one) is that those were his uniform pants when he was a Imperial pilot. Which presumes that the empire didn’t always rock the grey and black “Nazi” look and that he wore the same size pants for a long fucking time.
