We all have to do our part, right?

No? My quick scan of goodreads says later this year/2017.

I made fake turkey dinners for the week. Really it's mashed potatoes, corn, and stuffing covered in turkey gravy. There's just me so cooking an actual turkey is not a good idea so I tend to my cravings by making the "fixings" instead!

The Tragically Hip - Small Town Bringdown
Kim Mitchell - Go For a Soda
Great Big Sea - Oh Yeah!
54-40 - Ocean Pearl
The Tragically Hip - Cordelia
Odds - Eat My Brain
Blue Rodeo - Head Over Heels
The Pursuit of Happiness - Young And In Love

Finally finished the rewatch and caught up to the current episode of The Americans! Next on the list is to finally get to The Path.

Ohhh yah, Smoke & Shadow was where I stopped. It felt like a ramp up to declaring "Republic City" a thing. Or even on Aang's side of things (maybe this was in a different issue) that even though he has a connection to past Avatar's, they will still give advice based on their own experiences, that one's opinion is

I read a bunch of Avatar: The Last Airbender comics online this weekend. It made me miss the show a lot.

And for me I keep thinking: This is 1983, they don't have the 20 years of post-Cold War knowledge we all have. We'd all like to think it would be as easy as "oh of course, let me just call up the FBI" but I think we'd consider it pretty incredulous if it happened.

Any other Canadians immediately start humming the HNIC theme and then were disapointed when the link wasn't the actual theme?

Yup. I was listening to a description of the golden albums that were put on the Voyager(?) probes, what was included as part of them and started to weep on the bus. Embarrassing as fuck, but it got to me.

Fuck yah! Congrats!!

It's required viewing in Canada.

Good luck!!

234 days? That's like a magic number, right? Regardless, FUCK YAH! Keep it up!!

I might have also seen new Archer on Cartoon Network. Well, on the Shaw cable/satellite guides.

CW, Riverdale, Mondays 8 PM

Yup, and I liked that one too. They were annoying but I kind of liked jackass Joey MacIntyre.

So has anyone else been watching "The Real O'Neals"? I find it to be not as obnoxious or dumb as I expected. The random dance numbers are a bit of fun and I always enjoy Martha Plimpton.

Ben Foster is amazing. It's too bad his star hasn't risen further, he is quite a great actor.

The new Andrew Bird album that was leaked early. It's pretty good and making me really consider heading to Vancouver to see him live.
