Good news is that the batteries generally last beyond 100k miles. 

Less so than additional electric motors, batteries and all of their supporting hardware/software.

I saw a clean example last week and thought the same thing. 90's American cars sucked but this thing was oddly good looking.

The problem with cars like this (including various Astons, Audi R8, etc) is that now now that I can afford them I’ve been spoiled by a 500hp Golf R (not exaggerating, 440whp on pump 91 and 500whp+ on E30) that will blow them all to shreds in everything but looks.

No they don’t. No one prefers cutting off half the view.

Yet business is thriving year after year.
