I’ve seen it. A good number of MK7 GTI/R owners run these brakes without long term noise issues so fairly confident I’ll get it ironed out. I think Clarkson drove the MK3 TTRS and these brakes came from an MK2.

Haha no, I have a Golf R with OEM TTRS rotors and calipers (in addition to EBC Yellows pads, stainless brake lines and Motul brake fluid). The car has full bolt ons plus ECU/TCU tunes (runs 11's) so additional stopping power is nice
The TTRS setup on my Golf 7R with freshly installed EBC Yellow’s (less than 150 miles) recently started to squeal a bit under very low speed low pedal pressure stops. Doesn’t do it all the time but hopefully goes away for good.
Congratulations Alabama! This is huge for the state and for the country.
Yeah its temping, I’m a tune and turbo upgrade short of running 10's in my MK7 R. I’ve already got the stage 2 setup (runs high 11's) including intercooler and while a built motor is recommended the stock setup is reasonably safe to 450 wtq. You can buy quality parts from different vendors and be well under $18k in…
Major blue ball due to lack of actual sound clip.
You’re behind the curve man! It’s millionaires bacon now.
This is common knowledge. You can’t accurately compare reading from one dyno to another and even ambient factors can provide different results on the same dyno on two different days. Anyone writing professionally about cars should know this.
All it means is that the car is financed. Fairly common circumstance I’d say.
They’re not designed for any one vote. They shape public sentiment over time and do so effectively.
It won’t match the aural thrill of a proper V8 but I’ve got a stage 2 MK7 Golf R (bolt ons plus ecu and dsg tunes) that knocks off 11.8 reliably on street tires. I smile every damn time and most folks have no idea that it’s anything special.
Niiicccceeeee
But its soooooo light it doesn’t need any more power. People like you just don’t understand!
Shit headline is shit.
I feel like we’ve all seen way worse, probably on this very site multiple times over.
Good taste in the first degree
I can smell your lady parts from here and that shit is rotten.
I’ve driven traditional manuals for most of my driving life starting with my first car in high school but recently purchased an MK7 Golf R with DSG and it’s incredibly rewarding to drive. Shifts are stupid quick in manual mode and on a recent spirited group drive I realized it’s better than a traditional manuals can…
Ube
I’m not biased or anything what with my stage 2 MK7 Golf R with DSG and all but the Golf seems like the best all around package.
