Just because cars industrywide are becoming safer over time doesn’t mean we should allow automakers to sneak a few deadly defects into the mix without repercussion.

The one where automakers intentionally design products that can kill or seriously injure someone because its makes short term financial sense. There is also the follow up problem of burrying defects that are found after the fact which also lead to death or serious injury.
