My dentist yesterday told me he’s not getting the vaccine b/c “I’ve already had it so I’m immune.” I wanted to point out that’s not how it works, but he was about to do something potentially dangerous and painful to me, so I kept my mouth shut.

I haven’t heard about length of immunity - I read all the fine print I was given twice, but that wasn’t in there. I’m assuming they do not know yet, so you may be correct.

This instance of resistance I get. I don’t agree with it in this particular instance, but I get it.

I hope there are enough folks willing to get a vaccine that we can resume a semblance of normalcy. Between the 45 supporters who deny the severity of the disease (thus, they won’t get the vaccine) and the folks who distrust the administration so much that they aren’t willing to get a vaccine, it’s pretty frustrating.

“Warp speed” is a perfectly good and sensible program, regardless of the president at the time. If it helps, he certainly had nothing to do with the details. It’s a rare instance of this administration allowing smarter people to do what they do best.

I don’t want any R&D “Warp Speed” vaccines funded by 45.
I’d rather have the Pfizer vaccine whose R&D was funded by Germany.
