Also, much like Assualt on Precint 13, Master of the Flying Guillotine has a badass soundtrack that holds up really, really well.
This is why I love the comment section here. I can think of no other sequence of events where I would have learned the (awesome) tagline to Dirty Ho.
Shout out to "Dog Soldiers." Really great modern B-movie.
100 percent agree on "Aliens" (don't remember the T2 director's/deleted scenes as well). Additional scenes of the colonists farting around before they get wiped out adds nothing and mucks up the pace. The pacing of the theatrical cut is really perfect in my opinion.
Vincent D'onofrio. It doesn't end well.
I would honestly love to read a paper about this. Not to write it though, yikes.
Get to the Working Overtime part!
See what you needed to liven up your wardrobe there was some sweet, sweet Starter jackets.
Just want to note that "He solves his problems with violence, and he solves them by himself" is an excellent summation of this mindset in general.
The ending of comic would not have worked AT ALL in movie form and yet I think it would have been really fun/completely bonkers to see an attempt to pull it off.
Blade Runner is firmly in the "appreciate and respect" rather than "love" category for me.
I mean the Wizards probably aren't even going to make the playoffs, and you have to be at the brink of success to really "choke" so this is still a ways off.
This picture is making me think that in another universe we have a Greg Sestero Captain America.
And now I am mentally re-imagining several scenes from "Inglourious Basterds" substituting in Gamergate. It works.
The part from the picture up there is great too. "Is that like, his stomach plug??? Right there on the ground?!? I mean I'm no doctor or anything…"
"Kung Pow" was one of the worst-advertised movies of all time. It's like there was a bizarre insistence on using only the most terrible jokes in the trailers. When I finally got around to watching it I thought it mostly really good! "THAT'S ALOTTA NUTS!" will never get old for me.
Ok, somebody is going to have to break this down for me further. Even with the full quote I'm still only recognizing a Michael Keaton movie and, um… the Company from "Aliens"?
Full disclosure: I am the treasurer for Ass-Kickers 1099 Local. Just thinking back to the glory days a bit.
Whoa whoa whoa, an Ape-ray?!? *runs to nearest comic book store*
