To be fair, many of Mia’s children who have since passed away have also corroborated the claim that she was abusive. Mia can be a flawed and emotionally abusive mother and still be protecting her children from a serial abuser. That seems the most likely explanation.

The part that squicks me out most about Previn’s description of the affair is that she DIDN’T come onto him - he was “interested” in her and found her “impressive,” and was the one who kissed her first. That, to me, is pretty telling.

Yeah, it’s clear that these kids had some REAL shitty parents growing up. I think it’s pretty plausible that Mia was a loving and extremely emotionally abusive mother, and that Woody saw an opportunity to swoop in and groom a few kids knowing that they would never be believed. The whole thing is disgusting. 

They both maintain that she was 21, but there is mention of evidence in the divorce proceedings of a nude photograph Allen took of Previn when she was 16 or 17. So it’s likely that they are inflating her age quite a bit. 

No one is blaming her and as you can see, I’ve already noted the hiatus part.
