Don’t worry, Elon only gets the just-printed Benjamins.
You do understand how legal precedent works, right? If she wins this case, then there is precedent for not denying service based on gender identity.
Someone higher up in the comments actually mentioned that this is only really true if you are 30 and under. In the 50+ group, there are wayyyy more women than men, and that’s why this article is noting that men who are 50 years old+ are at their online dating prime.
I’ve said this for yeeeearrs.
Yeah, have you ever talked to a pregnant woman about how often they pee? Or the 30% of women who have bladder issues post-birth? Didn’t think so.
If you’re checking bags or need to change your flight, though, the value goes waaay up since you get 2 free checked bags (usually $25-35 each) and no flight change fees ($150-200). Southwest is awesome and I am sad they do not fly out of my local airport :(
Yeah, as someone who worked adjacent to the airline industry for five years and had to cancel or rebook a lot of flights, the best thing to do is be firm, kind, considerate and understanding (so, the exact opposite of what OP is recommending).
This reads like a line out of the South Park episode about this. Unbelievable.
Yep, they have. And the comments have been alarmingly supportive of Ellison, which I suppose is not surprising.
20 years later, and there’s basically nowhere in California where that package is tenable, even on the coasts :( Thanks, climate change.
You get that lesbian and bisexual people make up a significantly larger portion of our population than 1%, right?
Do you take check or money order???
If your relationship strategy is “prevent my SO from ever realizing that there might be someone better out there for them in an effort to hold onto this relationship,” you are in for a bumpy ride...
Ummmm, how about no? If he was so worried about his girlfriend going off of birth control without telling him (despite promising repeatedly that she wouldn’t), he could always go in for a reversible procedure to gum up his vas deferens for a few years. He doesn’t have the right to control her birth control methods and…
The number of men in relationships who “didn’t see it coming” despite their wives and girlfriends being visibly miserable for years is astounding. I know so many women who pleaded and begged with their SO’s that they were unhappy, to no avail. When served with papers, the offending SO acted as though this was the…
And for anyone saying that this wasn’t a pattern of repeated behavior:
I grew up in a place where he had a home, and he was well-known for pursuing my classmates in high school. Yes, all of us 14-17 year-olds swooned over the prospect of being picked up by him at a local concert or at the beach, because we were…
This, forever.
The point isn’t that one woman or another had a positive relationship with Walker while they were in their teens and he was 30+ years old. It doesn’t matter if he “treated them well.” He has a documented predilection for pursuing underage women.

I think most of us can find a lot of similarities in what you’ve written. Even with the most sensitive and “together” male friends, family members and partners seem to have no problem with having the women in their lives do their emotional work for them.
