Selyse is a horrible lady. She is much worse to poor Shireen. I like the way they made her in the show, girl is going to take her mother for a ride and the mom won't see it. And it will be unintentional. (Unintentional, because she's very much in tune to other things (like magic things) and is able to be rational…
Queen Selyse needs to shut the fuck up with all her, “I should have given you a boy” whining. Girl, you are married to maybe the one man left alive in Westeros who wouldn’t blame you for that. But you ARE pissing him off by bringing up every five minutes. SHUT IT, WOMAN. And go watch your adorable daughter teach…
I don’t like the way they have written the Sand Snakes as bloodthirsty, willing to consider killing and mutilating children. It completely invalidates Oberyn’s repeated lectures on how Dorne values children above all us, and how much more they are enlightened compared to the rest of Westeros. Just sloppy, inconsistent…
Cersei has qualities I should despise in a character; evil, arrogant, petty, delusional, not nearly as smart as she thinks she is, yet, she’s one of my favorites. Lena Headey is a big part of it but, honestly, Cersei has her reasons. They are way fucked up but they’re there.
She’s not into him, she’s just using her newly-acquired womanly wiles to control him. Still creepy AF though
ugh it just made me hate her more
Cercei is such a fucking miserable as a queen can manage to be, but Lena does her so magnificent so I love her anyway.
The Littlefinger/Sansa kiss creeped me the FUCK out.
100%
from what i can tell, barristan is dead (at least judging by the preview for next week/the interviews) and grey worm is still alive.
For book readers:
Jaime still looks hot in that jacket
Thoughts on episode 4 (sorry so long, I have lots of thoughts guys!)
That annoyed me so much. I wasn’t fond of the romance plot to begin with (if you insist on having a love story in your action movie, don’t give it to your only female team member), but that scene really took the cake. “I just destroyed a city and probably killed a bunch of people along the way, I’m a monster!” - “I…
That entire film just felt like a fanfic filled with OOCs (with the exception of Whedon’s fave, Iron Man) and fight scenes. All flash and no substance. And I’ve spent so much time raging about what this film did wrong on Tumblr that I have no energy left... Calling yourself a feminist and portraying a female this way…
I went to see Age Of Ultron yesterday and they showed a trailer for Ant Man and I just couldn’t understand why they’d invest time and money into a a super hero who controls insects when there’s already a well established MCU character*, who not only has the most interesting back story in the Avengers, but also can…
Spoilers ahead! Okay, I’m actually pretty disturbed by the direction they took Black Widow in Age of Ultron. There’s a scene where she’s telling Bruce that she’s a monster too, and well instead of naming any of the murders she’d committed or other logical disturbing options, she talks about how she was sterilized…
This doesn’t surprise me too much. No one understands money like kids who don’t have that much of it. They understand it as *currency* and what it can signify from very early on.
