He’s sniffling a lot again. Not helping his argument that he’s not using cocaine before the debates. Maybe they shipped the microphone from the last debate to this one? It’s the only very reasonable explanation. /s

Strawberry rhubarb maragita. I made this for the first time last night and it’s the best drink I’ve ever made. You have to make the syrup beforehand, but it’s pretty straightforward and you can make it before you leave for your getaway. I got two big drinks out of this recipe, but it would be easy to scale (way) up.
Didn’t that already happen? I think they did a scenario where someone was robbed on a beach, then a guy chased the “thief” down and beat him up.
What is this gif from? It’s gotta be 90s Nickelodeon, right?
My favorite healthy, easy recipe is baked sweet potatoes. I’ll either do a spicy version with buffalo sauce, green onion and some feta, or I’ll add a poached egg, arugula, lemon juice, black beans and mozzarella cheese. I eat the spicy one a couple times every month, it’s awesome.
Bryan Cranston is AWESOME in Trumbo. There's a lot of sharp, sassy one-liners he says that tickled me for days. I mean other parts were good too, but no one can deliver those types of jokes the way he can.
“Mr. Rupert Murdoch, father of Prudence, Elisabeth, Lachlan, James, Grace and Chloe Murdoch, and Miss Jerry Hall, mother of Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel Jagger are delighted to announce their engagement.”
I really think Leo is going to get the Oscar this year. Not because his performance was his best ever, but because I think everyone is thinking what you’re thinking, that the Academy has frozen him out for some reason and it’s gotten ridiculous. The ‘Leo never getting an Oscar’ memes have been around for years. He got…
I agree that another J-Law win was super eye roll inducing, but in her (unnecessary) defense her reaction to winning made me think she feels the same way.
The snowman part of The Super is hands down one of the best things I have ever heard. Just within the past week I started laughing to myself thinking about some of the lines from that episode.
The Jaws 4 episode of How Did This Get Made is one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard in my life. The shark outsmarted the Coast Guard!
Get it together TMZ, US Weekly featured this years ago
Off topic, but as a fellow lover of America's Test Kitchen I have to ask... did you hear Chris Kimball is leaving the show? I was unreasonably devastated by that news.
I actually had no interest in sea stuff until I listened to that podcast, now I can’t get enough. There’s such a variety of stories.
The Stuff You Missed in History podcast has a really good episode about the Batavia. If you're into that kind of thing, they also have more episodes covering just about every other famous shipwreck in history (kind of not kidding, they do tons of shipwreck stories). Highly recommend.
Whatever your wishes are after you pass, MAKE SURE THEY ARE KNOWN AND DOCUMENTED. And here is my horrifying, worst-case-scenario reason why: My mom’s boyfriend of 10 years passed, and because he didn’t explicitly state what he wanted to be done with his body..... his genuinely sociopathic ex-wife who he passionately…
The comments on that blog are golden. One commenter said she loves unique names and named her daughter Breeielii. (Of course it could all be satire, another commenter said she named her child Aedolph Hietlaer because it translates to dolphin heart)
All I have to say is HOLY SHIT you just described my life. If something bad happens, my first thought is always what the next step should be to fix it. It works great in a crisis or at work, but it’s made me not a great friend sometimes. Example: I typically give away cooking related things for gifts, because in my…
Has anyone ever seen the youtube video “Jeff Goldblum laughing for 10 hours”? It’s basically the gif of him laughing, but with sound. And for 10 hours. And it’s... weirdly compelling. You will watch more of it than you think you will.
Also from Dayton! Some of my friends went to the same high school as her, and years ago she did the commencement speech for the HS graduation... I guess it was her basically saying “I have a voice that’s cool, and I made millions. Not sure what you guys are supposed to do though.”
