My first reaction to hearing Trump was hosting SNL was sadness (for SNL) because it just seemed kind of... pathetic. Like the show has gotten so bad this is what they’re resorting to in order to get viewers. This is an especially low point for a show with a history of lots and lots of low points.

REALLY wish that natural breast shape look was still fashionable. Now you're supposed to push your tits so high up that you hit then with your chin if you make a shocked face.

They do! Netflix knows me better than I know myself and I'm really not surprised it's come to this.

One time I got "Intellectual Canadian Documentaries" and I reevaluated my life choices

Remember the episode when she wanted to dye a girl’s hair blonde so she would look like Beyoncé (and it was obviously going to turn out terrible)? But they found out her weave was so bad that they had to shave her head, and the shaved head inadvertently made her look like a goddess and Tyra tried to take credit for

I thought that was a gif of someone shaking dice and I kept thinking WHEN ARE THEY FINALLY GOING TO THROW THE GODDAMN DICE ALREADY???

Just yesterday I listened to an old episode of This American Life about hoaxes, and this kind of thing was one of their stories. If you want to listen to a recorded phone conversation between a notorious scammer and an undercover FBI agent fucking with them on the phone just for lolz, I HIGHLY recommend listening to

Thank you! This has really been bothering me and it sounds like maybe I’m not covertly screwing over tons of waiters after all

Hmm... I will check that out (seeing if the amount goes up to 12 after a couple days)

This isn’t related to the stories but I have a restaurant question for anyone who can answer:

Knitting is super fun, and if this is the kind of project that girl wanted to do, good for her. I just don’t understand the “OMG it’s not even the finest sweater knitted since the evolution of sheep happened, why did this loser even try when she should’ve known she was just going to embarrass the whole world?” theme

I teared up reading that. So happy for you.

American Girl books are the reason I love historical fiction to this day. I recognized Valerie Tripp’s name immediately and I could picture the fonts on the covers of those books like I was looking at it right now. Those epilogue-type sections in the back of the historical books taught me more about American history
