Hopper’s still great. He’s been through some shit. Likely has PTSD from all the world saving and upside down visiting. Flawed hero who is trying to keep everything together in an increasingly insane world.
See I recognized that people kept getting saved at the last possible minute and I loved it every time. It’s weird but usually something like that would bother me but here I just went along with it and found it satisfying. It definitely happened a ton, though, and I get why it’d bother people.
Even though she didn’t intentionally stand him up it still happened. And she could have called the restaurant from the science teacher’s house. That she let him stay there for so long and never seems to show remorse about it can be annoying.
“To paraphrase: Let The Tweet die. Kill it, if you must.”
It was an inside joke type of thing between him and his wife. Apparently she wrote it to get back at him for other tweets he had written about sex with her and it blew up from there.
Yeah, if you want something to go away/not be remembered it seems dumb to write a whole article on it. It’s kind of tasteless tweet but that was always the point and Smith has explained the point of it when he wrote it was to try and write the worst/most disgusting thing and it was a joke between him and his wife.
I loved this moment. I started to lose it when the music came in to back them and the reaction shots from everyone really, really sold it. Joyce leaning her head against the wall and Murray slowly turning with a confused look was fantastic. This whole series is and has been an ode to 80's cheese so this worked for me.
Yeah, it says “nobody’s dead until we’ve seen the mangled body” and I distinctly remember seeing his body get pretty mangled up. But I assume anything can happen in this world.
What would make you think that? Ice T, Ice Cube, Eminem, Queen Latifah, Mos Def, LL Cool J, Common, DMX, Busta Rhymes, Method Man, Snoop Dogg, etc. all continue using their stage name. Sure, a few start to transition after a few years to “Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson” or “Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges” but for the most part…
I’ll see if I can dig it up somehow but the basic idea of it was that the explanation given at the end was the result of a child assuming that was what happened. In her young mind that’s the only logical explanation and nobody else could talk to her to explain stuff. It also mirrors the comment from the daughter in…
Did you grow up watching The Jazz Singer dozens of times throughout the years? And then get Jazz Singer clothes/uniforms and Jazz Singer toys? Then followed the Jazz Singer animated series that ran for a while? And also play all the various Jazz Singer video games that were released?
He had Ocean’s 8 in his list, which is most definitely just a crime/heist movie so I figured it was fair game.
Just an alternative viewpoint: In “Us” we don’t get the explanation. That’s just one person’s theory that is presented but not the actual truth. There was a good explanation on twitter that Peele liked back when the movie came out.
Atomic Blonde, Hanna, Red Sparrow, Peppermint, Anna, Widows, Alita: Battle Angel, Kill Bill, Tomb Raider, Hunger Games, Alien.
I went to the arcade to play games.
Trying to understand what he’s saying there and my best guess is that it’s not so much a prequel but just a reboot. Like, we’ll tell the same basic story/character stuff but set in a more modern setting. Otherwise being a prequel set years later is just crazy talk.
Try Month is still happening and it’s been well over a month. The boys are killing it each and every week.
I wouldn’t be surprised that she doesn’t have a friend who has a child with legitimate reasons but is just using that as a scapegoat to cover for her own trust issues over what a vaccine will do to children.
She’s clearly anti-vax or at the very least leans on the side of “I don’t trust this”. All her comments sound like she wants to be anti-vax but not want to deal with the reputation that comes with it. Her reply on instagram is all about “supporting” those who want to vaccinate but that she’s really all about people…
