Yea, I wasn’t super interested in it when it came out but looking at IMDB everything else is either an adaptation from a book, a sequel, or a remake. Was surprised there wasn’t more original stuff in there.

When is the last time he’s done something original that wasn’t an adaptation or remake? Was “Big Eyes” based on anything? I believe it was a true-ish story but don’t know if it’s based on a book or article or anything.  The last release of his I really loved was Big Fish and that’s 15 years old now. 

I know it’s visible in a few quick shots but this and the first trailer seem to be framing a lot of shots of Farrell without showing that he’s missing an arm. Just seems odd.

It’s all real. Not necessarily artificial. Kinda like an alternate timeline but I believe they (the writers/producers) have said it’s really Earth and it’s real people.

I miss the days when you just discovered shit in video games by playing them.  Not everything was always spelled out. Hell, you’d be lucky if there were controls or tutorial missions in old games.
