I still angrily power through it but it’s been reduced to catching up after a few weeks instead of watching it the night it airs. I really, really, really hate the format/structure where we spend one episode with a group and then the next with a different and the next with a different and then eventually get back to

Yea, that was a solid run for sure. I loved when Night Andrea tricked Day Andrea/Kimmy and also enjoyed the connection to her original kidnapping. Being unable to tie shoes and having the velcro sound give her anxiety/PTSD was unexpected. I did like a lot of last season but would have to re-watch it to remind myself

Totally. I remember thinking “I have to wait how long to get the final half season?” and also being annoyed at seeing them split the DVD releases into two (Part 1 and Part 2). Such bullshit.

Did you perhaps re-watch Season 1 more than Season 3? I know each time a new season was coming out I tended to re-watch all that were available so Season 1 definitely stands out more than the others. That, plus the cast/storylines were a little easier to follow.

I felt like I really started to notice it with AMC shows. When Mad Men and Breaking Bad were coming to an end they started splitting things in half to stretch out how long they could milk the properties for their sweet, sweet cash.

Not a big fan of splitting seasons in half like this but I do love the show so can’t wait to get some new episodes. I still enjoy it even if some people have started to get burnt out on it a bit.

Send her with Kid Flash to Legends of Tomorrow (if she wants to be involved in these shows at all). I think she’d be fun as Speedy for the team. Maybe something enhances her powers or some other magic explanation so she’s not just an archer on the team.

On one hand....I like Diaz being revealed as pulling the strings as I like the actor and felt he wasn’t really given anything substantial to do yet on the show. On the other hand.....he could barely handle Diggle in a one-on-one fight so his intimidation factor isn’t as high as it should be for a big bad. We’ll see

Definitely thinking they reveal her later on as being against James and working with Diaz to both take over the city. She definitely seemed to be trying to direct OTA in specific directions when they discuss what to do next.

By the way....whatever happened to Queen being investigated by that woman? Like...did that get resolved somehow and I missed it. Or has she just not shown up again until she’s needed to inject more drama to a situation? Like...Rene betrayed them by saying he’d testify and then it seems like nothing happened after that.

What about New Mexico?

I figured that she realized Hopper was the only one who actually cared for her and wasn’t just trying to use her for his own selfish gains. The lab wanted to use her and the punk group wanted to use her. Both were just telling her what she wanted so they would benefit from her abilities.

“But each episode ought to contribute to the greater whole and that episode didn’t really do that.”

Cool. Now I need more details about the Donald/Stephen Glover helmed Deadpool animated series on FX. Any updates?

“The video is below, although you really don’t need to watch it;”

Why wouldn’t they have the Marvel movies? Those are PG13. The Netflix Marvel shows are staying with Netflix but they’ll have the movies (and some other developed Marvel shows).

Not really, because with Disqus (and the Kinja browser add on) it’s easy to collapse a conversation if it’s not relevant or you want to move on to another discussion. It was cool to interact with some of the same people on multiple different discussion threads each week for a particular episode. I’d also say that

I used to see comments in the hundreds and thousands for many of the reviewed shows I love. Now I’m lucky if it reaches over 100

Netflix is producing a bunch of 15-minute stand-up mini specials for a bunch of up and coming comics. So you’ll have that, at least.

I think the show will probably end before Kumail needs to find his exit. It’s been on long enough and should be focused on an end in a bit. It’s been spinning it’s wheels a bit already, anyway.
