He's a showman! But I agree. He's his own downfall. Could be in and out in minutes but he loves to chew the scenery.

Okay….so I hate on this show a lot and complain about the pacing and stretching out of stories (I dislike the model of "show these characters for an episode, then show these characters for an episode, then show those other characters for an episode" but the show still knows how to hammer me in the emotions.

I get more annoyed about their dialogue. I totally gave them a pass for an episode or two thinking that at some point they'd reveal that (like the Kingdom) they are doing it for show. But I absolutely do not buy that people reverted to speaking like this only 2 or 3 years into the apocalypse. If they reveal that they

Not to mention the interrogator a.k.a. Clark mentions a dead girl in the first episode. Two people besides David acknowledging her (plus the doctor signaling for her to take off her headphones) makes me think she was real but died.

I also thought about that after the reveal of why Clark's looked like that. Makes sense that it would be the same thing.

I also have been annoyed how many times in the past his cold gun was basically just like a "push" weapon that wouldn't always freeze people. Just knock them back/down.

Question about Merlyn's hand…..I thought for sure that it was lost completely and that he had been wearing a prosthetic hand while working with the Legion of Doom but in the episode where they go to the future to rob that bank or whatever I know I saw him using his "fake" hand that made it seem like he could move it

This week alone on DCTV:
-Caitlin dies
-Amaya dies
-Masked!Felicity dies
-We saw Iris die again

Remember they had been planning on just wiping out/killing everyone there until they gave Clark more time. So while Clark went in at a disadvantage nobody knew that the rest of the people were watching through his eye and had plans to decimate them if needed. Clark was likely there to confirm/make sure David is there

Thinking that he's still going to have mental illness and we'll find out that both sides were right (he's mentally ill AND has crazy powers). One theory is Shadow King was suppressing the illness while in there and with him out of the way the illness will hit David hard.

I consider it more like an epilogue. Game of Thrones also tends to put a lot of big stuff in the second to last episode and then use the finale as a way to reflect/wrap up.

I get it. Many others have confused her for a mutant and I was just trying to help clarify even though I misinterpreted your comment.

Melanie has no powers. Just married a guy who did. She's human.

She has no powers. Hawley described her as human in an interview/article.

She's not. Hawley explained she's a human without powers before the show even started. There's an IGN article somewhere that has his quote that she's a human, unlike the others at Summerland.

I believe the not-Syd in the swim-up scene looked a lot like Rudy (RIP), the telekinetic guy but there's no clear shot of it. It just makes sense because he was running with them during the escape. Have seen others mention (but I haven't gone back to re-watch yet) that at the end of the escape when David meets Melanie

My mistake, sorry. I thought you were implying that she and Ptonomy were both mutants based on "Summerland mutants", "Brotherhood of Mutants" and just using them as the two examples. Plus I've seen many other people wondering about her powers and assuming she's also a mutant.

Melanie is a human. Hawley confirmed that early on.

Makes sense but it's possible it got there before Equinox did.

Aubrey's performance went from (basing on comments here and elsewhere): Oh she was fun ….. > Oh she's got something else going on …..> oh wait….she may be important to this whole thing ……> oh my god she is pushing everything forward …..> well then….that's pretty great….> how do we get her an emmy?
