Mmmmhmmm. Exactly. That sentiment also seems to go hand in hand with the idea that Bond was all about objectifying and using women, having crazy, cool gadgets and why can’t we bring that back already, etc etc.

Isn’t it weird how that kind of goes hand in hand? When I was in college, I worked for a tech company that was run by a born again. He had been a drug user and cheated on his wife in his “past life” and he really took it all very seriously. He was a total ass, though. He’d talk in company meetings about how he and his

That’s true.

This is always the biggest problem with people who become born-again. I almost think there’s often a desire to be born again in order to shrug off the inconvenience of dealing with horrible things you think and do. Either consciously or subconsciously, anyway.

Oh, she’s contempt-able alright.

Your problematic youth didn’t have a fan base that was calling for a woman’s rape on twitter while you said nothing to discourage that behavior.

Not to mention that there’s a pattern of sentiment/statement with him that seems to be tempered more by external influence than any actual desire to change.

Ha! Ding ding ding! I was thinking about Hazardous Waist, but I like Nuclear Waist.

Elegantly Waisted?

I haven’t read them either, but I remember my husband (who has read them) telling me this same thing when Craig was announced as Bond. Go figure!

Ha! I take it as a sign that his intense artistry made an impression on so, so many people.

That’s sad. What happened to her castle? (I think I know...that hat wasn’t going to buy itself.)

That fart is out there, becoming sentient little by little.

Touche.

Right? Somehow, in spite of everything (like, oh i dunno, 15 years of demonstrated amazing talent as an actor) Craig made it work.

When Daniel Craig was rumored to be taking over Bond, not being “suave” enough = not having dark hair.

That is *exactly* how I picture Shania Twain just hanging out in her house on a daily basis.

My friend used to accidentally spell it Mcbeth.

Call me crazy but I didn’t take this post to be about feminism.
