What’s interesting about the Discovery season three plot description is it basically fuses two of Gene Roddenberry’s ideas, Trek and Genesis II which was re-booted as Andromeda.

We’ll be getting a male Borg of color in a skin-tight outfit to spice up the ratings mid-season though. This is 2020 after all.
I’m one of the folks who really likes discovery, but I can’t read teasers for the new series and not think:
“The Long Night has come, the United Federation of Planets, greatest civilisation in the history of the galaxy has fallen.
Crabs unite!
I don’t believe in horoscopes but am also a totally classic Sagittarius to the point that I wonder if when I was younger I read up on it and then adopted my personality based on it.
People make fun of star signs and sometimes I’m people. But when I think of the scorpios I’ve known, and how unrelentingly terrible they were (manipulative, abusive, back-stabby, selfish, narcissistic), it gives me pause.
Some primate species, such as Homo sapiens redcolli, take pride in their genital size and display testicle facsimiles as social status markers. Typically these facsimiles are hung from the rear bumper or hitch of a pickup truck.
“Necco Wafers were beloved by no one.”

A salient criticism, I agree.
I’d go the other way. I think The Dark Knight was great, but it ended up shooting its bolt (so to speak) too early. The film should have ended, imo, with the Joker trumphantly crowing about how he won, as Harvey Dent finally BECOMES Two Face. Who is then the main baddie for the third movie.
I’ve got a space on my shelf ready for that transport!
Wow, this wasn’t the series I was expecting. Does the Bad Batch have the inhibitor chips? I guess they don’t since this makes them seem like the A-Team of clones.
I’ve read a bunch recently and it holds up fine.
Have you watched Children of Dune? It gets right most of the same stuff as the first series, but improves upon some of the less good bits. A few parts are recast mostly for the better, but none really for the worst. I feel that Newman gives a better performance in the sequel, and McAvoy is great.
This van in which she lives... is it, perhaps, down by the river?
Janelle Monáe stated she’s interested in playing Storm of the X-Men—preferably in Black Panther 2, if possible.
Can we just get a couple more seasons of Tron Uprising? that was a solid series.
I completely forgot that this was also at the beginning of his producer career. Yeah, when considering that and all the other stuff mentioned here, it really explains a lot even if it doesn’t excuse it.
