Moroff - and I want to see the little gadget-guy with him too. I expect it was too “Rocket and Groot” looking for when the movie came out, but it might work in this context too. Also, would REALLY love to see some Rebels characters make that jump.

I would say Dark World holds up fairly well on a re-watch. I don’t know if I would say it is better than either IM 2 or 3, but it’s certainly no worse, in my opinion. I am definitely of the opinion it is better than Guardians 2, which was honestly a slog for me the second time through.

I hope there are people right now filing FOIA requests for every document, spreadsheet, email, memo, visual aid and Sharpied-up-scratch-paper that even tangentially relates to to COVID-19. The complete timeline, from multiple decreases in funds for the CDC, to eliminating the exact position there that could have

Re: Picard. I just realized that the basic plot/premise of this whole first season is essentially the same as Escape to Witch Mountain...

Don’t forget to include a trading card - preferably one with lenticular motion. Oh, and polybagged. It must be polybagged.

A big difference between the parks in the US and those in Asia (Hong Kong Disney, Shanghai, and the Tokyo Disney resorts) is that the Chinese and Japanese governments have massive ownership and managerial roles in those parks. Here, The Walt Disney Corporation wholly owns their parks, all of the land on which they are

To me, Valerian was so disappointing because it didn’t even suck. I found it to be neither good, nor even genuinely bad. It was just lifeless. It lacked all of the charm that Fifth Element made look effortless (excluding about half of the Ruby Rod scenes anyway). Sad.

I’d watch/read that. It’d scratch that Gotham Central itch

I just noticed the Razorcrest too. Will look for the Moldy Crow when I can pause the Blu-Ray.

And apparently Judd Winnick had to really beg to be able to use that page. Denny O’Neill really didn’t ever want it to see the light of day once the ax fell.

Add a bunch of sour cream after that ground beef and cream of whatever simmers, and you’ve got “college stroganoff”. We serve it over egg noodles, but the rice would probably also be great.

I worry that this is how he will go full Palpatine. Weakened and deformed, Trump announces he has defeated the Dem/Jedi/Coronoavirus plot and is implementing Order 66 on all of them...

Yup, this is too bad. That would have been a great format for Tron as an IP

I can’t imagine he wasn’t aware of the website. Garth Ennis may be called many things, but much like Paul Verhoeven, ‘subtle’ is not one of them.

Oh lord, don’t give them ideas!

I think I MIGHT be able to deal with this idea as a series of shorts. That schtick gets pretty old pretty fast...

And layering James Earl Jones with Matt Lanter  when Vader says “Ahsoka”. That gives me goosebumps.

Lord, yes, what an ending. I am a middle-aged white man who doesn’t put much stock in an afterlife, and it STILL wrecks me. I keep going back to it, waiting for the emotional impact to lessen, but nope. I flat-out ugly cry every time.

I didn’t either, and now I can’t unsee them. They’ll always be there...waiting.

A friend of mine also found Savini to be a bit of a dick, so your experience is not unique.
