I’m unfamiliar with that bit of lore. Legends or current Disney canon?

Question from someone who has never watched the show, and wants to now that it’s all on Disney+ - did they get the episode order correct?
I ask because practically NONE of the Disney Afternoon shows are in the correct order. I’ve been bingeing TaleSpin, and noticed that the first episodes were halfway through the 1st…
Except that everyone on Tatooine and Jakku have TERRIBLE water discipline. The Jawas and Tuskens might have some kind of stilsuit under all those robes and wraps, but everyone else just seems to wear regular clothing. And don’t get me started on Rey being surprised her water bottle was empty, or that happabore thing…
Far as I’m concerned, Favreau and Filoni can make a new special every year or two, like Doctor Who. It could be something of an anthology, with different characters and eras for each new special...
Why are they bothering? I thought Disney+ was already an embarrassing failure? /s
Why even use a ship? Just strap a hyperdrive onto an asteroid and point it at the target. Take that a step further, and you can install one in an actual small moon and now you don’t even need the financial boondoggle of the Death Star. No crew, no finicky khyber-dependent superlaser, just pure mass colliding with a…
Ok, so I have a question. The bounty hunters here are tracking their quarries with these little fobs that beep when close to a particular signal. I want to know what is broadcasting that signal. Like, is there a little chip implanted into every sentient the moment they are born into the SW universe? Or, is it…
This is exactly what I’m hoping for - can that little floaty bassinet thing make a “gara-gara-gara” sound effect as he pushes it along? :)
And we have our Winner of Internets for today. Nicely done, sir.
While the music is good, I thought it was....hmmm.... too noticeable? With Clone Wars and Rebels, I generally didn’t even notice the music until a second viewing, and this score seemed to be shouting at the audience to listen to it (I dunno, is “music-forward” a thing?). Not sure if that’s on the composer or on how…
I’ve still never watched the original. I LOVED the 1990 remake with Ben Cross as Barnabus Collins, and it’s very possible that my mom still has the Dark Shadows joke book somewhere in her library...
I was fine until Shannen Doherty showed up. And then I was very not fine...
I am appalled at how far down I had to scroll for this. I was ready for the first post to read “I want 5 megawatts by mid-May”...
Anymore, I’m pretty much in the “You do you” mindset. Who am I to dictate what pleases someone else, or when they want to be pleased by whatever that may be? Mrs. Copperpot busted out the Christmas romance novels ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT, and there will be one in her hand probably through Valentine’s Day. So, do what…
From a narrative perspective, something like this would have made the most sense. When Force Awakens came out, I was fairly sure that Leia should/would be the only main OT character alive at the end of whatever EP 9 ended up being. Sadly, the real world kicked us all where it counts.
Any Syndullas featured or referenced in this?
Yup, I was hoping for Ursa Wren as well. Still, any show is improved by Wen’s presence.
Just get Filoni to do a trilogy based on what he started with the Bendu, the world between worlds, and the Mortis Gods. Frankly, any one of those stories is much more interesting and creative than the current trilogy.
There - FTFY ;)
The first season is a bit uneven, but even at its worst, it’s still some of the best Star Wars out there.
Your idea basically happened on Rebels. A pair of Inquisitors was shown to be going around “collecting” Force-sensitive infants, presumably to be spirited away to some undisclosed location to be trained in the ways of the Inquisitorious. It’s implied that this is how they spend the bulk of their time now that there…
