Some of the responses people are making to you are nuts. I'm not sure how vilifying a five year old has ever made any situation better - or how saying weird shit to you is helping either. High five for responding calmly and politely.

So you are just completely writing off a FIVE YEAR OLD CHILD! You know, if everyone did that, we'd be overrun with criminals.

The kid is five. Military school? Die for his country? Really?

I have worked in juvenile corrections as a nurse. let me tell you, if you read that kid's chart it would break your heart.

Can we not feel sorry for the victim and the (5 YEARS OLD!) bully?

There was child at my mum's school were I volunteered who used to chase girls around the playground threatening to rape them. It came to light later that his older brother had been encouraging him to watch violent porn constantly. Kids don't come up with this stuff in a vacuum he has access to some pretty disturbing

Because children are a product of their environment, they don't just start saying this kind of shit out of nowhere. Anyone who believes in pure nature over nurture in this day and age is an idiot.

...He's five.

Let me ask you a serious question. Let's say the bully, let's call him Bill, gets expelled. The victim, let's call her Sally, remains in school, and inexplicably, starts bullying other kids just like this bully bullied her. Let's say Sally starts kicking other kids in the face and telling them she's going to slit

Mark that one is a troll.. dont even bother

I don't think I ever said that anyone should be left to terrorize children and if you notice above I didn't say I disagreed with the expulsion. However, having worked with kids with behavioral issues I can't help but feel some sympathy for what the boy must be gong through to behave the way he does. It's fine for us

You are having trouble understanding why a 5-year-old who is acting out deserves a little compassion? Looks like you're the one with the problem.

Ugh, that's a horrible situation all-round. But I do think it's really irresponsible for a teacher to downplay it like that.

I agree with this, to a point. What happens to the kid once he's removed? Home schooling would be a really bad option seeing as the people meant to be teaching him right from wrong are obviously not present (or present in a negative way).

Sorry, where was the admiration in that post? Or the victim-blaming you seem to have found in those three sentences?

Wish I had a copy of the epic email I got fired with back in 2002. Company had been using our soda machine to fund the company picnic all year (scam) and they wouldn't let me bring my new puppy to the picnic.

not the closet, out of the basement.

We should all make business cards based on our families' battles and feuds with us. Mine would be:

No Beyonce covers= obviously the work of the Beygency.

Oof is right.
