I don't have this problem.

I'm Canadian. So maybe that's my own baggage.

It appeared to me that her apology was for being so taken aback. But she had every right to be taken aback. And I find it hard to believe Matt Lauer would mutter "I'm sorry" and leave it at that if some dude grabbed his ass and told him he looked fucking hot right into his god damn ear canal.

Yes, I acknowledged that. My point is that she shouldn't have apologized to anyone. She did nothing wrong.

RRRRRGH and I hate that the first thing out of her mouth (after "WHOA!!") is "I'm sorry."

It all looks a bit... chilly. I'd sleep the shit outta that bed though.

I love the things you say. :)

For the record, I didn't say you were alarmist (though defensive might fit the bill). I was referring to any individual who makes a hair trigger reaction to call the authorities the minute a woman is seen exiting her car with her child inside, despite the lack of an obvious threat of danger.

Seriously.

Yeah, except I don't know about you, but I live in a world where things really aren't simple. And I'd prefer child protective services and police aren't tied up dealing with alarmist scenarios like this when their resources are tight enough as it is. Because as a taxpayer, this is a bullshit waste of my tax dollars.

Ham-fisted? lol ok. I am not actually trying to make a point, just get you to identify where you draw the line on yours. But I think I can make a pretty good guess based on the tone of your response. Thanks, champ.

Ok, so suppose there was someone watching... in the house... where do you draw the line? When the parent leaves the room? Goes downstairs? Steps outside the door?

Hello, devil's advocate here.

I didn't mean (or say) this specifically, I said things LIKE this, and there are schools outside of the US.

Well, this sucks. You're legs are way nicer than mine. Can't you just be happy with your pants and call it a day? ;)

yeah, aren't you a newf too? I'm not stalking, I swear... lol... I remember it from another post and noticed your screen name

In schools, during big events like Olympics gold-medal games and stuff, they broadcast live and all the children watch in the gymnasium. It's usually sports.

So, feet? Is it just symbolic for actions?

I enjoyed reading your analysis. Like, REALLY enjoyed.

The feet? I don't understand this bit about the feet...
