It’s concievable GM should never have owned these clunker brands to begin with. Vauxhall is universally panned as a brand, even by the British themselves. So now GM sees an opportunity to offload it to the French and took it.

Understand, Brexit isn’t the reason for the sale, it’s the excuse. You have to understand

COTD right here!

I can only imagine what went through the driver’s head as he heard the initial sound of the front wheel hitting the curb...

Rotary Wing aircraft were built by the devil and hence, they do float, on the winds of evil.

Plus 1 for the Fast Times reference!

Yes, if that is correct, you’ll never hear a peep about Lyft here. They would all be afraid of an advertiser/sponsor pulling revenue.

Amazing all the people on here who are quick to jump to the defense of the vandal...

“less of a biased reference”...oh, ok. I guess the vandals, who were quickly spray paining a vehicle, just didn’t take the time to correctly “spray paint” the correct version of the Star of David and just randomly drew a star instead for no particular reason...
Uh, yeah, ok...

Just because they didn’t paint it perfectly

Ok, then what is it? It’s a crudely drawn star after the word illegal in what is being investigated as a bias crime. The star is no less a biased reference than the rest of the graffiti. But yet somehow it was conveniently, and completely, ignored by the press.

Yes, you are correct...spellcheck strikes again...

A bias crime? really? They spray painted two other cars also, one of whom’s owner is white. And, they also spray painted it on a Methodist church and a banner near by. Most of that info was swept away in favor of this guy, I wonder why? Aren’t the others victims too? Why does he take the lead in the story?

“Especially since used RVs depreciate like a condom out of its wrapper.”

I would not say “zero” at all. We had very good financial education in HS for both personal and business activities in the US when I was growing up. Some of which I still use today as they are the basic tenants of accounting. College expanded on that concept, but more towards the business world.

And, I had parents that

I’ve wondered that too, they make aftermarket systems that are not terribly expensive, but maybe they just don’t want to put in the time and effort?
I drove my CTS-V for 196,000 miles and the AC was perfect and never needed anything. I have a 2001 Ford Explorer for commuter duty and it’s AC works perfectly and a host

I have the same affliction. I have a 2001 Ford Explorer I use for just for commuter duty. Everything, and I mean everything, works flawlessly on this thing, because it has to...it must...I-can’t-help-it.
In fact it’s likely in better shape mechanically than cars 1/2 it’s age.

All CL ads say... “AC just needs a recharge”.
Which translates into...”It’s broken beyond repair.”

Well, some people in Texas drive a 325e, you know...

Good point, it competes with the lightly used car market for much higher and sexy performance cars. I didn’t think of that.

The CTS-V wasn’t as much of a sleeper though, totally different front end and wheels. But from behind, yeah, it wasn’t as easy to tell it apart from a regular CTS. But, from the rear is how most

Oh, ok, like my CTS-V, it basically came “loaded”, the only option was a sunroof, which I did not get. I’m too tall for it as it reduced headroom.

I have all seasons on my M5, they are $400 each. Not your average all-seasons (ultra high performance rating) and I find they are much better in the rain then the summer only tires. Since I don’t track the car, I don’t need to pull 1g everywhere I go.

It never sees winter, but they are much more stable in rain/heavy
