I guess the big question is: as someone who played the dickens out of it on PS4, do I go for it again on Switch?

Rayman Legends didn’t have a massive team,
Similar to Lucasfilm/Disney always feeding us the old Star Wars movies in another slightly higher resolution every few years when a new medium comes out.
Ah, but necessity is the mother of invention, right?
it proves that its appeal is not rooted in mere nostalgia but is a lasting work of quality that transcends its era.
The bright side? Now I can ask for it for my birthday...?
I’m so tempted to buy this at full price for the third time...just for a better framerate. Someone stop me from going full Gamer.
I wish there was a ‘Team Four Star’ language option in the settings.
DLC? They’ll just gate new characters behind forcing you to buy a brand new version of the game.
This is Arc System Works - you thought Capcom was bad, have fun paying $60 for another disc-based version that has 4 new characters only, balance changes, and is locked to that version of the game (making the copy you previously bought worthless) within a year from now...
I really really hope LOTEABH gets your message loud and clear. Grade A advice, hope they do well!
I take it to the point of ‘abolish games’ because based on your thin premise, it sounds like ‘Labo cannot, should not exist because it doesn’t make sense to me. OR, if it does exist, it’s because People Are Stupid. Because no one should value something that I don’t.’

Yeah, but you forgot, the Switch isn’t for kids. It’s only for Serious Gamers who hate Nintendo no matter what they make, and claim Nintendo only makes things for kids. Or something.
and then when Nintendo does take risks, it’s, “they’re so stupid - why can’t they just give us X, Y, and Z like everyone wants them too?”
I keep telling myself ‘I’ll get this for my nieces and nephew’
I think buying the Season Pass just gave you access to the Season Pass content. They sold it that way. I don’t see its inclusion in this Royal Edition as somehow being ‘part of the price’ of that, but rather a freebie they’re tossing in to entice people to buy it.
You made me just remember something - the Mario Marathon. It was the first gaming charity-run thing I ever saw and they still do it each year! It’s not really a speedrunning thing so much as ‘play literally every Mario without breaks.’ Have to check if it’s still around, and see the ones you mentioned!
