All depends on contracts. Usually anything not released is under NDA and all that, but once a project stops existing? That’s a trickier thing.

Just Pachter drives me nuts. He’s building himself as a ‘personality’ and so-called reputable source, when the best he can manage is getting right what anyone could.

He was right on things anyone could have guessed at, with cursory knowledge of sales numbers, and a 3-year window to work within.

Prediction: “Pachter is a hack and outside of the most obvious observations, should never be taken seriously. In fact, you should always bet opposite Pachter”

The only thing that would have been lost is the gnawing feeling that the Rebellion aren’t particularly righteous or capable.

IT’S A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!

Just when I thought I was free...they pull me back in!

NieR reminded me of that time where B-tier games existed. That you could have something with really good ideas, player interactions, etc. but be juuuust janky enough on the fundamentals to stop it from being more than a cult favorite.

“For many parents, life is a constant struggle to balance work with family. If you could secure your children’s financial future simply by playing with them on camera, wouldn’t you?”

I mean, if someone responds that way to be trolly or hyperbolic, sure, be critical. But if someone is really that bothered and can’t separate fiction and reality...? I just want them to be better off, and helped in whatever way possible.

Every time it’s updated, I read this for the Quokka. You adorable mush.

Well, I’m not saying there needs to be a clear-cut solution. Just that trying to blame shortages squarely on Nintendo when this stuff happens is terribly short-sighted. It’s as if, because they don’t know or care about resellers, a Gamer’s demand is that Nintendo produce 3-5 times as many units, intentionally flood

Ok, you want to talk support - let’s talk about it.

Meanwhile Nintendo has shut down one of the best Metroid games the world ever seen.

Maybe it’s just me being in the giving spirit, but I kinda feel bad for anyone who would be so emotionally attached to fictional characters that they would be legit heartbroken that one turns out gay.

Nonono, see...you’re not driving the desired narrative.

if anecdotal evidence is anything, blame resellers.

I really love the end.

So happy you’re doing well, getting hitched, and was willing to share it!

Kickstarter backers got their codes earlier this week, and I have to say Shantae is fantastic. Bursting at the seams with energy and charm, and possibly Wayforward’s best game yet (I mean, Contra on DS may be tied for no.1).
