So...they made an Assassin’s Creed game.

Do you have a site with work currently online?

Honestly, it’s the only aspect that’s tempting me right now.

He threw every last one into a volcano.

You started up front saying it was reasonable, then saying an hour long game isn’t worth the price no matter ‘how hard the devs worked on it’

Except I can’t recall a 16-bit game with this much animation. Or wide color palette. Or ability to put so much on screen that looks good scaled way out, or zoomed in on. Not to mention, as others have said, Shantae games come in it at $20 and no one seems to bat an eye at that. So this ‘half the price’ bit sounds like

I’m floored by the amount of attention to detail in this game.

because 2D games only deserve a certain price in the their sidescrolling ghetto, where they belong, yeah?

Protip: This game is longer than an hour.

it’s pretty high quality, compared to similar products.

I sorta did this with Ori - since it was $20, but felt like it deserved more, I just skipped spending $60 on AAA whatever, and got it plus 2 copies for friends.

Good ones shouldn’t be. Or that is, people should be willing to see value in well made things.

Also, considering that AAA games take a year or two to make, with literally hundreds of people slamming against it to get it out the door, asking $25 for 10 years’ worth of a handful of people’s time is a pittance.

Mario Maker is a reason. A pretty big one, even if you don’t care.

Oooooh! Great!

Thanks! I had heard about 64-bit being more stable, hadn’t considered it could lead to better mods too.

Practically speaking, what can this do that original Skyrim + mods can’t?

2016 can suck it :(

Man, it’s like people read and knee-jerk respond to the first thing they see that offends their constitution, than reading the entire discussion I’ve been having back and forth with people about these same ‘gotcha’ responses.

Yep, because Every Year is the End of Nintendo (tm).
