I always ask people if they got, out of the box, what was advertised to be in it.
Or they wanna replace it with something more usable, it seems.
I mean, if you want to adventure without an app, you can.
Yeah, but that was me being glib about the outrage over this.
I agree with a lot of this. The game is broken. Was on day 1. My friends and I all admitted, if this wasn’t Pokemon, we would have never tolerated the problems this long.
To get one thing sorted - I don’t think taking broken features out, especially when there's no communication to a solution, is ever a good thing. Especially when it’s a feature that’s pivotal to the main game.
Gamers on Day 1: “Pokemon Go is amazing! It’s like the thrill of the game’s adventure in real life! You explore more, take more risks, meet new people! It’s changing the world!”
I know, right?! It makes me sooo happy!
Of these ‘bests’ only two games are exclusive to the PS4, and one ‘remaster’ of a game that only came out a year or so before it was remade. The rest could be had on PC for the ‘best’ version.
This is how I know you don’t believe a word of what you just said
Every Year is the End of Nintendo (tm)
I simply think ti’s funny that that’s the only title they can come up with when their Layton is female.
now I have to listen to this album again ;D
I’m so glad someone, somewhere, always knows what to do in these articles... :D
Serious comment time: how are people offended by this, but not by someone smoking pot at a show, etc.? You know, the difference between behavior that has little/no effect on someone to a behavior that makes others a participant, like it or not?
It’s cool how Kotaku rallies against ‘-shaming’ anyone for almost anything...unless you’re an uncouth boor who would dare play Pokemon at a concert. Then, shame away! It’s so wrong and unacceptable! :p
Since you asked, ok.
I’m making no assumptions though - I’m looking at exactly what you said, and why, and working with that. Which doesn’t take a genius (more assumptions). I called it bigoted because your own rhetoric about these people seems more than willing to paint with broad strokes.
“I know you are, but what I am? See? I won!!!”
