Gaming’s not a right, so ‘piracy without a demo’ isn't an excuse.

Double Dogmeat Duo!

Because people legitimately thought (yourself included) that this would literally put real Pokemon into real life?

people have imagined the AR pokemon experience of their dreams,

Not ‘basically a joke’ if you actually cared enough to pay attention to developer intentions, as signaled by things said at interviews and events.

The exact same thing I was thinking as I was watching

I had a bit of fun in Colors, Generations, and Lost World, but I get where you’re coming from. Even the ‘bad’ 2D ones seem to stand up better than most of the ‘good’ 3D ones.

With enough time having passed...I think it’s safe to say SA1 & 2 aren’t very good, either. This is from someone who bought a DC day 1 for the first, and got the second on release as well.

Ah dang, that too

I’ve seen well placed support extend combos, but not be a means for infinitely continuing one. You can only have one support come in and they can take a while to charge. So far it's felt like a nonissue as potential abuse goes.

Can double confirm. Looks like all controllers are possible, minus a wiimote w/o nunchuck, and the wii fit board :p

Thanks for the heads up!

whoa, if you knew the writer’s background, you’d know this image is 100% appropriate. Calm down a tad.

Just one more bold step of consoles’ trek into obsolescence.

I saw a quicklook of this a long while ago and thought, “you know, I’d give it a shot.” Fast forward to this week, and hearing all the enthusiasm and praise, I went in a little more hyped. So far not disappointed! Although the leveling system doesn’t seem as a cut-and-dry, ‘be whoever you want’ affair as Souls games.

I’d give them more leeway than other devs though. With Charlie Murder and Dishwasher, Ska proved that 1) they know how to make their own brand of games that doesn’t rely on ‘coat tail riding’ to be good and 2) the kind of dark/noir/gritty/metal look that Souls games evoke is already their staple aesthetic.

Stop asking Gamers to take a logical, level-headed stance on this. They hate that - tech fetishism trumps this silly, “analytical thinking” you use :p

After playing it a bit, I’ve come to these conclusions:

Good luck!

Nintendo’s criticized for when it tries to keep it clean (CENSORSHIP). Gets criticized when they keep no control on the software (ROOKIE MISTAKE LOL).
