My understanding is the HDMI output from GH2 is still 4:2:0, even after the workaround.

clean 4:2:2 out is unique, i believe, in a camera like this

i assume this uses the same video frame composite trick that the app slowshutter uses (since developers don't actually have access to shutter speed control), but i'm confused what the 'included' lights do. just simulate light drawing with overlaid light effects? the app store description is vague.

dyneema? no way, dog, too heavy. i'm waiting for the cuben version. every tenth of an ounce counts when i'm hiking down the street to get groceries.

Seriously. What is it with being interested in gadgets and literal mindedness?

@Arggh! there goes a...snake a snake!: The bulk is what makes them warm, hence the desirability of "loft" and higher "fill-power". The magic is that, despite this bulk, it still packs down small. If a synthetic were to match down, it would be just as bulky.

@ArcaneDigital: Maybe in cookbooks, but I think it would have made more sense in this context to talk of cooked rice, since his point is specifically about calories per volume.

A half cup of rice is 300 calories? You must be referring to uncooked rice. That's a little misleading.

Is that Ze Frank? That would explain this.

@tech_fanboy: That's what I do. I used some free Cydia application that enables the native tethering, then share it from my macbook via wifi. It works great and is pretty fast.

@Yuno: Don't worry, you'll be too dead to be disappointed!

Dear Cool Hacker People,

@hostile-17: It's me too. There are plenty of things to eat without killing animals. I know I kill things on accident some times, but I try not too. I understand people establish habits and comforts early in life, but I don't understand why they are so often outright opposed to empathy.

I like Reeder, but somehow I was never able to actually transition to using it from the Google Reader web app. I'm not sure whether there's something I like more about the web app, or if it's just too hard for me to change my news reading habit.

@Markarian: I would loooove to be able to adjust shutter speed! Or even an option to lock exposure and focus would help.

@dave_t: Me too! They could make it cheaper and more rugged without the LCD. I can't stand composing with an LCD screen anyway.
