I feel like Gloomhaven is a lot lore approachable than a lot of people give it credit for. Once I understood I was playing a board game version of Darkest Dungeon but with a plot, the rest was just getting a hang on the combat.

Has anyone figured out what that retro interactable texture in Mission 2 is for yet? It’s driving me crazy.

Now playing

Outside Extra has a great video about this kind of thing in other games:

First of all, im really stoked this game helped you out. It’s amazing how this game can mean so many things to so many different people. For example BOTW helped me when I had depression for 9 months (the first and only time I’ve experienced it) and it was so nice to escape into this amazing world and not have to

That Alloy one with the wings... “The Post Apocalyptic Hills are alive... with the sound of music!”

Stuff like this is important regardless of the stakes (meaning whether its video games or working in a hospital) because so much is built on the backs of the people working. While changes like this don’t change the world, they do a world of change for an individual.

Good call, it’s tough to go back to Dark Souls after playing Bloodborne.

Just finished the FF7 demo, im looking forward to the release for sure, looks and feels good, the dialogues though.. Other than that im doing my first playthrough of Bloodborne, which is nothing short of amazing.

I was fishing, stopped when I heard wolves near. Looked and three wolves were near, but left over a ridge. Thinking that was weird, they usually attack, I follow. They're fighting a grizzly over an elk kill (which I've actually seen in real life). After the grizzly chases them off, he comes for me, so I ride away,

I remember using binoculars to look around and a hawk swooped down a caught a fish right out of the lake near me.  My jaw dropped.  It looked like a nature show.

I’ve seen Buffalo and horses rolling on their backs in a field, and coyotes squatting to take a poop. Love this game.

Auto update is way too hit or miss for me. I leave my PS4 in sleep and sometimes it updates and copies games and other times it doesn’t.

They’re definitely the worst, very obvious shitty aspect of an otherwise mostly stellar game but there’s definitely a weird leering gaze towards the female characters too (Ryuji comes across as a serial creep at a couple of moments).

Good. Those scenes were ugly, jarring and uncomfortable in what was an otherwise thoughtful game. I hope they’re spiked in their entirety.

I just got into Stardew Valley for the Switch last weekend and goddamn man just beware. It has taken over my LIFE lol.
