I had tried demos of previous Monster Hunter games on the Wii U, 3DS, and Switch but found myself turned off by all of the grinding, the iffy control schemes, and the isolating feel of going into one location and hunting one monster in an area.

Pretty good list overall, except for Galaga and Asteroids being a little low. Then again, I am an old man stuck in a younger man’s body, liking video games older than I am.
