Sadly, given their track record, it's a distinct possibility. But if they leave the cut exactly as it is right now… the DCEU has its first legitimately, unreservedly good movie in the can.

For one, all the performances are solid. (I was worried about Gal Gadot beforehand, since her part in BvS was so small, but she really does a fantastic job as Diana— and she has GREAT chemistry with Chris Pine.)

I kinda feel like that's probably what happened to Suicide Squad, actually.

I just saw a test screening of Wonder Woman. O_O

I am totally cool with this, as long as it doesn't mean that Batwoman is dropping out of Detective Comics. Half the reason the current run has rekindled my interest in the character is because it's great seeing Kate as a hardass superhero drill sergeant— leading a team of idealistic vigilantes and working as a

Hell yeah! Chainsaw Vigilante would be a perfect addition to this darker, grittier, yet still wonderfully absurd world.

I was literally rushing to get to the comments so I could write those exact words. It's such a perfect idea, I can't imagine why they WOULDN'T do it.

"I'm sorry… No one can know my secret." (SNAP)

It's interesting that, even with Oliver's "yes, kill" policy back in effect, he still let Anarky live in the opening action scene. You know— the guy that murdered a dozen or so people last season, has attempted to kill hundreds more, and just planted a massive bomb to destroy a huge portion of Star City. Oh, and who

What? What do you…?

I caught that one, too. Almost didn't recognize him without the giant head of dreadlocks.

The new captain, incidentally, is named Captain Julio Mendez— Barry's lab partner/best friend from the '90s TV show. They even got Alex Desert back to play him.

Some random thoughts and feelings about this episode:

So I gotta say, all things considered, this episode was probably the best version of this story I could have hoped for.

When you're one of those five people, it's worth it.

So the first guy Barry runs into in the police station is a guy named Captain Mendez. And it took a second for me, but eventually, it clicked.

Man, hearing Mr. Plinkett read word-for-word from this article while deconstructing ridiculous arguments in support of the prequels… that just put a big, admittedly mean-spirited smile on my face.

You should at least delete the "SORT OF" in your tag, because that's a BIG F%$#ING SPOILER, dude.

Well, crap. "Ash vs. Evil Dead" is one of the few shows I really love to watch on a weekly basis, and TV Club was the one place I could go to talk about it ('cause no one else I know watches regularly).

And neither one of them actually resembles the comic-book KGBeast in the slightest! (Unless they end up bringing the movie version back with a cyborg arm, eye patch, and burn-concealing costume, a la Brock Rumlow in Captain America: Civil War.)
