The only true 007 Aston.

But that is specifically called "Dry Ice" to make it clear that it is not "ice" which is frozen water. I've also heard Methane Hydrate referred to as Methane Ice. I know it seems technical, but Gizmodo likes to take ordinarily cool things and make them sensational for click-bait. I don't mind someone jumping in and

The 6.9 was an amazing car and it would have won the 79 Cannonball if the drivers didn't wait for gas receipts at every stop. In comparison to my 57 Chevy it's from a different planet.

I don't disagree with most of this - but it's been shown over and over that even modern sub-compacts are more survivable than older midsize cars. That said, it's improvement on an already pretty good baseline.

Even if we can't agree on everything, I can agree with this. I always check left and right before crossing an intersection and drive like I was on a Motorcycle. Great advice there. If only everyone thought like that.

I would love to get ANY job in IT evem if its a help desk job. I have my BS in IT and an A+ cert, still cant get hired due to lack of experience. Its so frustrating.

That ruling had to do with breaking your cell phone's passwords or encryption without a warrant. If you look, the ruling actually says that if the phone is already unlocked, as long as they can keep it unlocked, they can search it without a warrant as part of a standard search.

I think this can be best utilized on storage secondary drives. A lot of us have SSDs for our OS but a secondary drive to store all the crap. I've got Origin on my SSD (read: Sims 3), but I can't fit EVERYTHING. So yeah, If I could partition of secondary with all the other programs and STEAM, then that would help a lot.

There will be now...

45 yrs later and Internet communications has sadly progressed little...

"Not an amazing film by any stretch"

At one point I literally had a box filled with brand new hard drives that were being thrown out. I'm on SSDs now, and do backups to an external and some cloud stuff. Honestly, it's amazing how unscary the thought of a crash is when you don't keep anything important on your computer anymore. The only pain for me

Yeah, I'll agree that—even if it's just a small one—getting an SSD is always going to be your best bet for speed. That being said, not everyone can afford one or would rather put an old mechanical they have lying around to good use.

Nice. But Eric Stoltz does it best for Laura Dern in this scene from Mask (1985)

My husband and I have a pretty similar split to what you and your wife have, although I have done some minor home repairs (fixed a leaky sink, etc.) and could do the heavier outdoor stuff if needed, and my husband definitely has a tendency to rearrange furniture and have strong preferences on some decorating things.

It's kind of complicated but in a nut shell the main reason primary schools haven't changed noticeably in the last 40 years or so is because it is a multibillion dollar yearly industry. The singular reason home school is stigmatized is the kids are worth $6000 to $15000 each in federal funding and the actual average

Sort of like how in Neuromancer, RAM is hideously expensive and they had no wireless Internet, but otherwise it was fairly forward looking.

This was my first Sci fi Family movie. I was about 6 and they were showing it on TV. My dad started calling me downstairs to see it together, while my mom was adamant to see it, as when she saw it in theaters she didn't like it that much. However my dad's running commentary to my mom and me made her love the film and

Just a note on Permethrin... Unless you are buying concentrated formula (10%) I don't think you need to be paranoid about it getting on your skin. It's usually mixed down to a .05% .10% solution..check the bottle. Permethrin doesn't soak into the skin and quickly washes off skin with water and quickly breaks down

People were just a lot tougher then. Also, people didn't sue over everything
