I don't have an Android, and I'm at work, so no sound... but is it that difficult really for people to get names right?

I love when auto-correct doesn't catch things spelled correctly, but that are not at all in the right context. Meat. Meat?!
Not love at first sight, but...
And Ghost largely takes the pain out of even that.
My first hard drive was the tape deck to a Commodore VIC20. ;-)
Fair enough, as long as it's a spare. Using your main hard drive would just be too much of a risk for me, though.
Land Rover Support Vehicle. That's an oxymoron, isn't it?
This is pretty clever. It should be noted, however, that running a portion of your spinning hard disk through constant read-write cycles will- over time- cause those sectors to fail sooner and more frequently than other sectors, and possibly cause wear and eventual misalignment of your drive heads. Considering the…
That's a really interesting point. I wonder about any child enjoying a chore, though. :-)
It should be interesting to see how our child develops in my household. My wife and I are expecting, and we've often discussed our views regarding gender roles.
I'm not entirely sure we disagree. Taking your example above, wouldn't it make more sense to ask yourself, "What could I do?" first, and then ask yourself, "What should I do?" In fact, haven't you already?
I'm not criticizing the fact that you wrote this, I am criticizing Harvard for trying to push this.
This makes no sense. Choosing between alternatives is exactly what forces us to consider ethics and morality.
This is really a commentary on the crappy minefield that higher education has become. It's a profit-generating machine that chews up young people and spits them out indebted for life.
Fair enough. Here in the city, car thieves aren't as capable at rowing their own. Still, hope they catch these bastids. The girl loves old cars! We need more of that.
"This one runs..."
Actually, no. I've never been bitten by a tick.
Good to know it breaks down quickly, and that it isn't quite as deadly under normal commercial concentrations. Thank you for allaying some of my fears on this.
Granted, it isn't entirely useless, but it only takes one tick bite. I wear DEET when I mow the lawn, and I am terrified of getting a tick bite (deer run through my yard regularly).
There's some critical information than needs to be driven home:
