I almost corrected this:

Haha.

Maybe I was just embarrassed to admit how much I like the movie. ;-)

Not an amazing film by any stretch, but Top Secret! with Val Kilmer:

And then there was... oh god, Skytrain. SKYTRAIN. A space shuttle/locomotive/robot, one of the Triple Changers.

Were they ever really 'in disguise'? For one, they transforemed at the drop of a hat. In the middle of a street. Secondly, they wore convenient badges which they displayed prominently!

I love when auto-correct doesn't catch things spelled correctly, but that are not at all in the right context. Meat. Meat?!

39-year old me says you aren't missing much. Also, when 9-year old me told 39-year old me, "Hey, remember how awesome the cartoons were? Just go watch those," 39-year old me listened.

Not love at first sight, but...

Is it just me, or is there something... off about all the designs? Like no matter how far out or futuristic, there seems to be some detailing missing to all of them. Like they got to 90% on each project and then figured it was "good enough".

It should be noted, however, that running a portion of your spinning hard disk through constant read-write cycles will- over time- cause those sectors to fail sooner and more frequently than other sectors, and possibly cause wear and eventual misalignment of your drive heads. Considering the

That's a really interesting point. I wonder about any child enjoying a chore, though. :-)

It should be interesting to see how our child develops in my household. My wife and I are expecting, and we've often discussed our views regarding gender roles.

I'm not entirely sure we disagree. Taking your example above, wouldn't it make more sense to ask yourself, "What could I do?" first, and then ask yourself, "What should I do?" In fact, haven't you already?
