Well then, we could be less cruel, or we could be slightly less popular with some voters. Who wouldn’t let politics win out over inhumanity?

We can process the people showing up at the border. Also, if she hadn’t made a point of saying “Don’t come,” that probably would have been fine.
Honestly, what could she possibly have said here that would have been acceptable to anyone? If more people show up at the U.S. border, when we can’t even process the ones who are already there, then how does this lead to any sort of a positive outcome for anyone?
I am so sorry for your loss.
My uncle died from covid in Colombia recently. He finally got called for his first dose of the vaccine the day he was diagnosed, so he wasn’t eligible to receive it. He was hospitalized shortly after, then placed in a prone position for a few days, then on a ventilator. He died less than two weeks later.
When you’re greedy, everyone suffers.
this is terrifying
Charles' cowardice.
What are those sleeves stuffed with to keep them puffed? Is it itchy? I’ll bet that dress was super itchy, as well as fugly.
I somehow had never seen the beading on the front and ufffftt.
Oh, I have not, and I want to.
It’s legit terrible. No wonder that marriage was doomed.
Did you ever see the back up dress?
I agree wholeheartedly. I watched that damn wedding—got up at something like 4:00 in the morning to watch it because I was sleeping over at the house of a friend who was a major fan of the royal family. And my friend and I almost fought over how ugly I thought that damn dress was. Ugly frilly monument to excess, and…
Agree. I was looking at the photo close up, I’d only see it in the tv footage on the wedding day.
That dress is, hands down, the ugliest wedding dress I’ve seen, and I used to watch Say Yes to the Dress. Everything about it, to my eye, is off - the sleeves, the neckline, the waistline, the girth of the skirt, and the train. I hate it, and I will not be deterred in my hatred.
I worked at Nike for several years and grew to really despise the sneakerhead culture. Honestly, so many of those shoes you see on the SNKRS app are just butt ugly, but “unique” enough that people will spend hundreds on resale just to never wear them. Really defeats the reason why Nike became a company, but that’s…
Especially after they axed the VP whose son was reselling product he shouldn’t have been able to get his hands on. Someone in product security is going to have to answer a lot of hard questions.
I’ll say it again here on Jezebel, fuck Nike and everything they do and stand for.
You’re probably not in a position where you’re likely to encounter a bear, but I don’t want anyone else here to be under the impression that this incident wasn’t dangerous. Black bears tend to be pretty chill most of the time, and they are reluctant to attack humans, but that bear probably weighed 200 pounds, and it…
