I'm sure Criterion will release a 3D Blu-ray of it. They did that for Wim Wenders' Pina.

ITT: People that have seen waaaaaaay more movies than me from this year. A real gold mine of suggestions.

Very interesting list. Gonna look up a few of these.

Does A.V. Club not like Birdman or something? Even freaking Interstellar made the list…

I can maybe explain it: Fargo and True Detective have been out for a while and are out of the public consciousness, so people might not see them as new. They don't come to mind when voting. Last Week Tonight is still being talked about somewhat since the season ended just over a month ago.

Birdman should have been on the best of list. Too bad it wasn't one of the default options.

You're welcome. I just watched both of those and they're a couple new favs. Especially Brokeback.

I have a system for watching titles about to expire. I have a few hundred in 'My List' that I regularly sort. Most titles expire on the 1st of a month, so I set my calender to say 'check netflix' for the weeks leading up to the 1st (have to redo this every month). I also check on the 1st. The reason to do it weekly is

Thanks. Maybe I'll watch it after Tarkovsky's The Mirror, also on YouTube (with better restoration than the Kinolorber release).

The Lady Vanishes vanished from Netflix randomly. I was gonna watch that. :/

Personally, I'm not a big fan of blockbuster movies. I'll watch one if I hear it's good, but I'm certainly not in a rush to see Hobbit 3 anytime soon.

I found some parts to be corny, but for the most part, it was enjoyable.

The Lego Movie for me, and I really enjoyed it. Just that I didn't think it was a great movie. Critics were overpraising it.

I thought he was good in that.

What movie are you referring to? (I think Disqus may be screwing with me since I'm seeing a lot of posts that seem to be replying to something, but aren't connected to any comment.)

Releases the 17th in America, I think.

I do think they deserve the complaints, but yeah, I'm tired of it too. Can't wait for them to be completely forgotten.

I didn't think A Million Ways to Die in the West was THAT bad. Worse than Atlas Shrugged III and Saving Christmas?

Or are opinions a thing?

I'm just glad Mad Men is on it; however, the omission of True Detective is baffling.
