I made the mistake of watching it with my cousins. I can't remember if I told them about the ending sequence, but they kept complaining [SPOILERS] "This is boring. Skip to the theater blowing up."
This is high on my list of shows to see. I watched a couple eps a while back, but now I have HBO, so there's no real excuse at this point.
I laughed so loudly at 'GOOGLE CHROME IS AN INSIDE FLAG JOB' that I scared myself.
I'd love to see individual reviews of this show.
Yeah, maybe I should make it as an excuse to watch through Avatar again too.
I feel bad for never having watched beyond season 1. I'm worried that I've forgotten everything about it and will have to rewatch.
Definitely in that camp. And I usually disagree with Dowd.
I still think XIII was a good game, but I agree with the consensus that the game is too linear. And with XII, it's the length of the game that scares me away more than the fact that it's different.
VI and VII are the best of the series. I'd rank them:
1. VI
2. VII (close 2nd)
3. IV
4. V
5. IX (never finished it)
6. II
7. III
8. I
9. VIII (also never finished)
10. XIII (still pretty good just least favorite)
Watched the pilot. It's pretty good.
This trailer sold it for me. Doesn't look near as bad as I though it would be.
I'd give it like a B- at most. Although maybe that's because I watched the unrated version…
I watched The Newton Boys because I was curious by how low it was rated for being a Linklater film. Not bad. I'd even go so far as to say it was good. Definitely strange though and not nearly as good as his other stuff.
I want more video games to be thoughtful and smart, and I want those to be desirable traits in games. (I'd actually say that video games as a whole have become more thoughtful and smart, but the growth of games in those areas has somewhat… stunted in recent years.) And that doesn't mean I want them to be like movies…
Mad Men, but I haven't exactly watched many current/new shows.
I felt like the universe was in my favor when he popped up as the vacuum cleaner guy in Breaking Bad.
I feel like there's less of a demand for mature video games and more of a demand for entertaining games. They're getting better, but it's taking much longer to flourish as an art form than say… films. The whole situation reminds me of the film industry when it comes to big, box-office hits, except much worse.
Grand Budapest but only to a casual moviegoer. Well… even saying that is a stretch, I will admit, seeing that it has gained widespread popularity of sorts.
1. The Grand Budapest Hotel 10/10 A
2. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes 9/10 ~ A-
3. The Lego Movie 8/10 ~ B
4. 22 Jump Street 8/10 ~ B
