Agreed. If the NHL wants more scoring, don’t implement some ridiculous system that allows a coach to review a goal because of an infraction that may have happened two minutes prior to it being scored. The “offside” goal completely changed the temperature of the game last night.

I honestly hope Hitchcock is kidding if he expects the Blues to win by having 70 hits per game. That makes no sense because that would mean the Blues don’t have the puck. I fully anticipate Game 2 to have a completely different feel to it than Game 1.

I guess I’m just not sure at what point the Blues were “gooning,” as you say they were. Although I’m sure the gooning will increase tenfold in Game 2, seeing that Duncan Keith will be back.
