Yeah but they’re harder, so people are less likely to succeed at all. If you get the same points for easy tricks landed than hard tricks biffed, the status quo probably wins out. Nonetheless I wish there was a way to balance it out because you do lose a lot of the beauty.

Although I have the same gripe about gymnastics, I assume the reason is that otherwise no one would ever try harder things.

Crumple up some dryer sheets into a toilet paper roll tube & blow smoke through there. Most reasonable hotels will have both of these things available. Unfortunately the actual item (jay, pipe) will still give off smoke. Or so I’ve been told.
