The Islanders aren’t going anywhere. They didn’t move to Brooklyn on a whim, and they aren’t going to pack up and move back to Nassau Coliseum at midnight. Stop dreaming and come back to reality.

Clearly, we just need to ban talking on your phone while driving, oh, wait, we did that. Ok, then just ban texting while, oh, did that too. Shouldn't highway deaths be falling? The nanny state has us covered.
Now that Sprint has gone away from the subsidized phones to leases or financed purchases (through Apple), I am concerned that when I have to upgrade I will find that the $15 a month for an iPhone 6S will be in ADDITION to what I am already paying (which theoretically was to cover the price of an iPhone). I only see…
One of the many reasons I left NY for NV 20 years ago.
That was my first thought on reading this article!
As a diehard Nets fan, I'm really enjoying this! The past couple of off-seasons have been like the old MAD military buildup between the U.S. and USSR. Fortunately, the Nets have gone back to running a basketball team, while the Knicks are still playing Cold War. Both teams will battle for last place this year, but the…
This knee-jerk blanket condemnation is the same thinking that got cell phones banned in cars in most states. One person talking on a cell phone drifts all over the freeway narrowly missing fifty other people talking and driving just fine, and next thing we know, we have a law banning cell phones. No proportion at all.…
Sorry guys, but baseball is so incredibly boring, any amount is too much. With the Stanley Cup Playoffs just starting, it amazes me that anyone still watches baseball. I started a youth lacrosse program in my town, and the baseball program is dying as a result. Pretty soon, no one will be playing baseball either.…
Ahhhh, got it. Thanks!

OK, but could you give me some specifics?

Wow, you ain't kidding! They're over $400 now! I got mine for $215, new, two years ago. I hadn't bothered shopping, since I already had mine.

Just wondering, what does this offer that the AR Parrot 2.0 (which I have) does not at half the price? Not intending sarcasm here, I am actually curious at the reason for the premium price.

It would obliterate a GoPro, but it would also change direction somewhat. One degree, three degrees? Who knows? The point is the NHL does not allow goalies to wear any gear that is not strictly protective. That all came about when Garth Snow tried the angled shingles on his shoulders when playing for the Flyers.
I don't see the NHL allowing anything that adds, even slightly, to the goalies size. Imagine the "camera save" controversy!
It isn't just open world RPGs. Take a look at NBA 2K15 on XBOX 360. Many features are left out and you end up with something that is inferior to NBA2K14 in nearly every respect.
Does it stay mounted? That's my number one complaint about these mounts. They appear to stick perfectly, then you back out of the driveway, and crash, off it falls.

You were half right. The Isles don't over count hits, but their puck possession is awful below the first line (Martin plays on the third line, and number two hitter Clutterbuck moves between the second and fourth lines at Capuano's whim.)
Or... the NFL and NBA could get off their collective a$$es and make viable minor leagues like the NHL and MLB do. That way, potential players could go the professional (including Major Junior for hockey) route to the big leagues bypassing the "cartel" completely. Most NHL players do not go through the NCAA system. It…
Well, yeah. It's that or pay much more and face data caps with Verizon. And as I mentioned, Verizon's data is less than 1Mbps and often zero, so why would I pay for that at all, let alone pay more?
