Yet another reason why I will only use Sprint!

This is great news! Now they can kill off ObamaCare like they did webOS!

As a teacher, I see plenty of kids reading on ereaders (generally Kindles) as well as tablets. I do all of my reading on my iPhone or iPad (and I pretty much only use iBooks now, since the prices are all the same, but the iBooks app is so much better than the Kindle one).

It kind of depends on where you buy it. As much as I love Amazon, Kindle books are rentals, or at least long-term leases. If they remove a book from the catalog due to a rights-loss or dispute, you lose the book too. Think of it like Netflix for books. That series you were watching last week just disappeared before

Exactly my point. When people were afraid of radios in cars, there was no Internet for morons to spread their horror stories of a "friend of an uncle's friend who was killed by some idiot chatting on his phone." Lawmakers weren't pressured into "doing something" to turn the tide of deaths on the road. Highway

I'm sorry you couldn't understand my posts. In the future, I'll try to stick to little words, include as many misspellings as I can think of, and leave out all facts and statistics, as they seem to make you feel weird and uncomfortable. I never use my phone to text in the car. I don't use Facebook. I use a hands

If it's all cell phones and Facebook why are traffics fatalities way down and falling? Sorry I don't include enough variations of the f word in my posts, I substitute facts for f-bombs. It's so hard trying to educate the retarded.

Cite your source. Mine comes from the automotive insurance industry. Yours is pure ROMA.

Amazingly, however, I am an "idiot" with facts, whereas you are just a garden variety idiot. Before you write, research. Words to live by.

Sorry, but that bogus "fact" was created by an organization that is trying to get cell phones banned in cars. According to the NTSB, "distracted driving" (which includes, but isn't limited to cell phone use and texting, and only 18% of those cases had a phone even present) resulted in 3092 fatalities in 2010. Drunk

Sorry, but according to the automotive insurance industry, people in the car are exactly as distracting as talking on the phone. Furthermore, you can't fool a history teacher. We have some historical perspective on each "crisis" that arises. If you knew your history, you'd know that the exact same arguments you hear

Exactly! Besides, phone use in cars is no more distracting than passengers, the radio, food, drink... People are just afraid of the new technology. Prosecute the reckless drivers for, I don't know, RECKLESS DRIVING, and leave the rest of us alone!

Sorry, but #2 is wrong, as any desert dweller will tell you. Come to Nevada, leave a slice of bread out for about three minutes, add seasoning, and you've got croutons!

There's been a lot of hate for Windows 8 since BEFORE its release. I am truly amazed at how many people will make up their minds before something exists and they will never change their decision, ever! I happen to love working with Windows 8. I have it on an Ultrabook, an HP Touchsmart all in one, and on a regular

Honestly, what gets me is the re-buying. Just as an example, I've bought Star Trek TOS on VHS, then I bought the series on DVD, and recently, I bought it again in HD on iTunes. Each time, the upgrade provided value for me, but in the cases where you buy a Blu Ray, then you want to watch on your

Every day I'm reminded of how happy I am that I left New York!

You're dead on. Cardio does nothing for me when it comes to weight loss (but of course it's healthy for other reasons). The only way I can lose weight is heavy duty strength training mostly with free weights. Nothing else, including calorie counting works for me. Cardio just makes me hungry. A difficult weight

And the best part is he did it to the Rangers! And on a night where the Isles were doing the same to the Coyotes. Yes, a good night!

So what's your point? If 10 people give me $10 or one person gives me $100, how does the difference affect the bottom line of my business?

Tom Clancy was my Harry Potter. The Hunt for Red October got me into reading novels and I have been an avid reader since then. He will be missed. First Michael Crichton, then Vince Flynn this summer, and now Tom Clancy. The world has become a poorer place.
