I've found only one minor error in Apple Maps. At one point, it wants me to turn left and a quick right to get to a street that is actually directly in front of me. In other words, not a big deal.

So, what you're saying is exactly what I've said since day one with Apple Maps, its all about turn by turn. That's why Apple Maps is far superior to Googel Maps. Unfortunately, all the urban sophisticates here have been whining without end about the terrible Apple Maps and how it doesn't even include mass transit

Yes, because phones aren't expensive enough and we are all made of money, please, please don't give us what you used to give us! Do it for the planet! Do it for the children! Do it for the rain forest...

Prices that make solar even remotely worthwhile would be a window to wider usage. As it stands, when it takes 40 years to start seeing gains over your capital investment, it isn't very attractive!

Hey, Siri finally has a weather forecast for my location! Prior to iOS6, Siri was the only weather service that didn't have weather info for my location. I always just used the Yahoo weather in the notification pull-down to see my weather.

You're absolutely right! Apple Maps blows Google Maps away sinply because it gives turn-by-turn navigation, but I think I know why Giz is so against it. These are a bunch of urban sophisticates who distain the freedom of cars. For them, Turn-by-turn is useless, but if it doesn't have their precious subway routes,

You correctly note that Bush signed the law, but you fail to note that the law was passed by Democrats in Congress. Bush signed everything in his last two years, no matter how stupid the laws Pelosi and Reid pushed. That doesn't absolve him, but to note that one complicit Republican negates the fact that this was a

OK, I get it. If you take mass transit, Google Maps wins, if you're an American (which means you drive your car), Apple Maps wins.

Apple Maps, turn-by-turn navigation, Google Maps, none. Apple wins, no contest. Next...

OK, after all the whining, I've been trying to trick Apple Maps into screwing up, and I have yet to succeed. It gives me the same results as TeleNav, which is almost perfect. Unfortunately, I had to pay for TeleNav because Google Maps was such a stinking pile of crap. Now, I won't have to renew with TeleNav because

Or people could stop whining about the new Apple maps which is so far superior to Google Maps there is no comparison!

OK, wait, lemme get this straight. You're complaining because the new Apple Maps has INCOMPLETE FLYOVER INFORMATION?!? Did anyone notice that Google Maps didn't have flyover information? Google Maps didn't have turn by turn navigation either. I thought from the iOS6mageddon that you would be complaining that Maps

Nope, heat is a killer. Right now, I'm working in a classroom where the heat is stuck in the on position and has been for three weeks. Its over 93 degrees in here and I'm falling asl...

I regularly watch Major League Lacrosse games on ESPN3 on my iPhone 4S. I also watch shows and movies on Netflix and Sprint TV. The shows look great. I really don't want a bigger phone. I'm glad that Apple isn't doing like Android phones where the thing is so big it comes with a trailer hitch!

Here's a thought, how about an iTunes that does something more than just crash? That would be a major new feature!

Sorry, no intrest in any Android tablets. They just don't have the finished feel of the iPad. Do like the price though!

Don't be so sure Sprint will follow suit. There is a great deal of value in being the only (OK T-Mob is trying it too now) guy that offers unlimited. It may be fine for a huge, unresponsive, customer-be-damned nightmare like Verizon or AT&T, but Sprint has a pretty good niche for themselves.

Yes, which is exactly why they have made people put away all hardcover books, pencils with crosswords, expensive water bottles from the post-TSA concessionaire, and all those SkyMall magazines during takeoff and landing all these years! Finally, someone has figured the seemingly senseless ban out!

Oh, well, if you feel they are bad for us, then I guess we'll all ignore the advice of a doctor who studied them.
