I'm suspicious of this reveal myself, for all the reasons shared in this piece. I want there to be SOLID proof that the shawl is what it is claimed to be.

By this point, Mamoru has Usagi's handkerchief. With her name on it, and the fact that the girls all call each other BY THEIR GIVEN NAMES while in their senshi forms, it doesn't surprise me that someone who is canonically as smart as Ami figured out that Usagi is Sailor Moon. And it's really not hard to find…
*sending hugs* I'm right there with you. Robin was basically the crazy uncle we all adored.
Then the meme and the gifs were everywhere and no one could stop crying.
I thought that in addition to the post-partum depression, when it came to seeing the wallpaper move, it could have happened due to hallucinations from migraines. I've had exactly that happen while in a migraine, so I thought it sounded highly feasible, especially if one doesn't have all the medical knowledge that we…
Wish I'd been in your class!
True, but this was discussion not only about that, but expanding on what she said. What I added is known to medical science, and I merely suggested it as an additional explanation to WHY the woman in the story saw the wallpaper moving. It was a specific point about a specific moment of the story. Frankly, I still…
This honestly reminds me of a moment I had in one of my literature classes back in college. We were discussing "The Yellow Wallpaper" and I came up with an alternative theory that I hadn't heard before, and haven't seen used in any papers on the story. My idea, instead of being considered and discussed, was…
When I saw Guardians of the Galaxy with my friends, we all ended up agreeing that for us, it felt like seeing Star Wars for the first time. The movie was fun, irreverent, and full of laughter while still carrying a story that we enjoyed.
Haha, that's perfect!
NOT a fan. But then again, I find that I personally prefer the subbed versions of animé to the dubbed. I always found the original dub cast of Sailor Moon to sound like someone's worst nightmare of what teenagers sounded like, and this new version hasn't done anything to change my opinion (I was at the SDCC panel for…
Nope. In the original animé, Mamoru was aged up to 20 and was in college, though in the manga and Sailor Moon Crystal, he's back to being 17 again. At least now his relationship with Usagi is far less creepy.
I worked on a short film in college at Linda Vista Community Hospital. It has been featured on Ghost Adventures twice, and everyone on the crew had experiences while there. I'd never go back, even if it was still open for filming (it no longer is). That place was MESSED UP.
