That’s incredible - great job!

Look, I’m not saying this is bad advice. And a lot of the commenters make good points...but does anyone have friends that are this sensitive that you can’t comment on their appearance? I mean of course you should never make comments like these to a coworker (yikes) or a stranger. But a friend? Really?

I’ve lost 146 pounds since last February. I have no issues with people asking me any of these or saying them to me. It tells me I did good. And now I just need to keep it up. (Not losing more just maintaining) I started at 286, and being only 5 foot 4, annd short for a guy well I was way overweight lol.

Everyone is

This advice is good for an aqauntence, but not necessarily applicable to people you know well enough that you can make a judgement call. I’ve intentionally lost a few pounds recently, and a couple of people have noticed and mentioned it. I found it flattering. I know that is how I feel, and it doesn’t apply to others,

Scales, no matter what they measure, do not really need to be very accurate. They need to be precise. As long as you see trends (up or down) is what you really need to care about. So the fat percentage number is not accurate but very few things are. But as long as it is precise than you can use the trends to help

I’ve been using these for 20 years, and yes, they can be inaccurate, but to me, that’s beside the point. I use it for the trend. If the weight or body fat is inaccurate, it is likely consistently inaccurate, particularly over time, so trending the data matters. It also means you can’t cheat, because you can’t cheat

I’m really emotionally invested in this hunting trip now and will need an update after.

It’s like the cast of Glee fucked the house band of a megachurch.

More than anything, I just hate the fucking score, as well as the fact that this is what all Broadway shows sound like now. It’s like the cast of Glee fucked the house band of a megachurch.

I don’t know, I watch a lot of shows and movies where people in their late 20’s are playing teenagers and even from the trailer something about Platt here felt extra off? I think the deliberate attempts to make him look younger ended up making him look older than he actually is in a way that just leaving it alone

Now, if you’re saying that a low quality performance draws more attention to the age disparity, that’s one thing, but that’s not what I’ve been reading from you guys since the trailer premiered (apologies if I’ve inferred something that isn’t there).”

The Stronger by Science pod is so good, Eric and Greg have the best chemistry and sense of humor. If you want a lifting podcast without the education part and just the fun, definitely check out Massenomics, the lifting podcast about nothing. Might take a few episodes to get the inside jokes but it’s one of the most

Rush’s impressive guns were developed thanks to a lifelong fitness habit that includes regular weight training, not to mention stunts like doing 2,222 pushups a day to raise awareness about military service and suicide prevention.

Steroids.

Wow, it’s amazing to see how many fitness Life Hackers articles rely on someone that don’t actually know what they’re talking about.

I’d also add the weight of the runner to the list of issues.

IF you do it properly and IF you don’t have any environmental mishaps and IF you body is kinda built for it... you’re good to go.  If not.... well, that might explain why every runner I know has knee and/or ankle problems.  It’s a lot riskier than people like to think.  There are easier ways on the body to get your

Sounds like you’re in a good place mentally. What can you do to help yourself be in a better place physically?

Most of these fall under the “3 adjectives, pick 2". Many of them aren’t particularly healthy, but are cheap and lazy like toaster oven nachos.
