Gonna have to disagree on a major part here. First, I am training in amateur boxing for fun, I train using the speed bag, I also have a prior shoulder injury, and I weight train. I say this because this topic is right up my alley.

Clear Whey is awesome. Go with Dragon Fruit too! This stuff is great. Not only that I got a friend hooked on it and he keeps using my promo code lol.
Stronger by Science is the GOAT. Iron Culture is pretty great too, quite laid back. RP is always a good time. Id add another Helms project in 3DMJ Podcast for great bodybuilding and some actionable information on dieting and training.
Personally, I am a big fan if fishing where there are fish. One great way to get kids lifting is with bodyweight. Especially pulling exercises. Kids love monkey bars super easy to show pull ups or chin ups, also push ups are great at teaching form for benching later in life. Especially shoulder control which is where…
Lets say he does do those push-ups its possible if impractical but its a good cause so why not. That alone is proof hes on something. Nobody at that body weight can do that much volume DAILY without anabolic compounds to help with recovery, which is their primary purpose alongside MPS.
Welcome my man. For I have the product for you! Duck Eggs! The secret to eternal youth and physical prowess!
He is 5'10, lean, and he is almost 300 lbs. If you think that is natty I got a program and some supplements to sell you.
The article is good in identifying risk mitigation strategies but literally everyone has activities they are built better and worse for. As I wrote above, weight is a big risk factor for running. Why? Impact. The heavier you are the more impact you are putting on your joints, if you like myself are 6'5 and naturally…
Ya, this is important. I always stress to people looking to start out a physical activity to try to find two things.
I didn’t workout (well resistance train) three of the past four days. Oh I missed it, but no guilt. I knew I needed rest. When you need rest, TAKE IT, you’ll feel better and likely come back better. Just dont take too much off.
Likely not just mental. Lots of factors. Depending on how experienced you are to the gym its possible you don’t manage your fatigue well, so say you’re doing a five day split but you’re going a little too hard the accumulated fatigue, which can be slow, will creep up on you. So a day or two off can really help.
“If you suck at one, you have a weak spot in your body”
I f***ing loath this gym bro attitude when it comes to alt-deadlifts. So much of it is just ego stroking.
I am not sure how “healthy” a lot of these are to be honest but they’re pretty lazy and cheap. At least in the US some are stupid pricey in Canada, government regulation makes staple items expensive. Myself I am a big fan of cheap, lazy, and healthy/low kcal dense (not the same thing) foods. Here is some of my go too.
Ya, Tiger much like the Williams sisters in Tennis changed everything. Now golfers like MacAlroy is pushing it even further. Like the idea there is no use for resistance training in golf is laughable. I mean Cable Wood Choppers uses basically the exact same movement pattern as a golf swing. It makes sense…
Do you mean those things that shake your belly with bands? If thats what you’re referring to then no. There is no science what so ever to support that they do anything for physical fitness or fat loss.
Interesting about this. It used to be that Female Tennis players were strongly discouraged from weight training with any amount of weight. It was felt they would “get too bulky” the classic fear of so many woman. This was so ingrained it existed in the upper echelons of the sporting world for decades.
Thats brutal. I cannot imagine being locked into a Planet Fitness due to lack of other options. But ya, I’ve heard horror stories from some of my friends and others online about Planet Fitness.
It is efficiency. But its efficiency at spreading o2 around your body. Not energy efficiency, that is different processes entirely. Muscle, your brain, organs, they all require the same amount of energy that doesn’t change.
Ya that is my biggest issue. Once you get used to the freedom of a barbell you never want to go back.
