You cant thats true, but I as a Canadian, can and will totally do so on your behalf. China’s early response, their subsequent cover up, and likely lies about the virus’s transition rates made this far worse than it needed to be.

Funny enough Castelvania is far more "anime" than a series like its Ghost in the Shell that has a better claim to the name.
Can we please stop calling these “anime” it’s getting ridiculous. I get Netflix calls literally anything and everything anime these days but its just marketing. What is and isnt anime gets blurrier by the day but the idea a French video game franchise produced by an American company with no involvement with Japan…
To be fair Tsuchima is actually about as close to Korea as it is to Japan. Its why it was the staging ground for the historical invasion. Its kind of a halfway point.
Slight spoilers:
Act I: Beautiful dreamscape of lush forests and one forest in an eternal golden autumn.
Act II: Dank swamps and thick bamboo mazes.
Act III: Snow, ice, and death. There is even a quest where you can die from freezing.
The luke warm reaction to the game from the gaming press and the overwhelmingly positive reaction from the gaming public is yet another example of the increasingly wide gulf between the two. I’m also reminded why I like Japanese press a lot more these days, they remember that fun is a key aspect of gaming.
And you called me a prick?
Lol, I’m NOT making fun of him because he’s black
I get its cool to insult Ben Carson for his political activities, he’s not great.
You know that hydroxychloroquine is an immunosuppressant right? Its use in COVID19 treatment is limited to patients who develop cytokine storms, whereby their immune system goes into a sort of “overdrive” which in turn speeds up their death. It’s a rare complication that few people develop.
Ya, titles mean jackshit. I have a couple post-grad degrees so I can play an expert with the best of them. However, even with those degrees I know I don’t know much beyond my chosen field of study. Furthermore, I’m not a real expert in my field of study as I’m not fully up to date anymore, like when I was actively…
When you get involved in the fitness, wellness, and nutrition industry you quickly discover the “MD”, “PhD”, or “Dr.” doesn’t really mean a lot. As sometimes you’re listening to a chiropractor about nutrition, a Doctor of History about exercise, or a regular old family Doctor about a novel virus that is more mystery…
Hot takes on stuff I posted elsewhere on the categories I care about.
Ya. I’ve been listening to some podcasts from those in the games industry on Ghosts of Tsuchmia and one of the things they can’t stop gushing about is the minimalist approach it takes to HUDs. Also, I tend to agree over designed HUDs are pretty obtrusive these days. Why take up valuable screenspace with needlessly…
I know that feeling. I’m a 6'5 200 lb+ male, I had some serious “I’m too tough/big for this” it wasn’t until I met a guy who’s gotten me more into martial arts recently who swears by Yoga that I looked into it and low and behold, it’s helped by persistent aches and pains considerably. I am FAR from an expert as I’ve…
As a general rule of thumb I tell everyone even slightly interested in performing a physical activity DO YOGA. Its bloody important to have a flexible body if you want a body that can perform.
Better yet just get off Twitter.
Ya not happening. Really not sure who this is for at all to be honest. Just strikes me as a corporate brand revival they have in their back catalogue.
If they somehow got Morgan Webb and Adam Sessler back that would be cool. However, considering how jaded Adam Sessler is when it comes to anything corporate I doubt that is happening. Not sure where Webb is on her G4 days.
That being said here are my various hot takes:
The floor, I set up a comforter for padding and I use my couch as the anchor to hold on too.
